    • Hard to drink through straw IMHO
I have had the bottle for 24 hrs. Today is my first use. On first impressions, I will say I love the "bottle" overall. It is just the right size for daily water intake. I love the carry handle. Although when full, it is a two handed carry. It's heavy! I added a silicone boot and grip to hopefully keep it from denting. Something that another manufacturer provided with a different bottle I own. You'll have to find a long bottle cleaner with a bendable cleaning end to get the upper part of the bottle clean. This would probably be not as much of an issue if you're drinking water out of it, but for tea drinkers or other beverages, it might be harder to clean. What I dislike immensely is that the silicone tip on the spout is not attached, so it might be easily lost, but makes the spout more hygienic as you can clean under it. The worst part is the straw is plastic not silicone and attaches to a small nub inside the lid. The straw itself is sufficiently large. Unfortunately, the nub is so small it makes it very hard to drink from the spout. Because of this, I would not purchase this item again, unless I could find another replacement lid for a different product that I prefer over this model. Because of this preference, I have taken the lid from another brand of bottle EV and it makes the bottle useable... otherwise it's like sucking through a bent or occluded straw. I haven't put ice in it to see how long it will stay cold. Edited to add: We have found ice will last more than 24 hours if full of ice. Beverages stay cold 48 hours. I'm very impressed with that, it's even better than my EV bottle in that regard. Hubs likes his straw just fine so it's probably me just being picky because I'd used a different brand before. Now I use the lid from the different brand with the straw I prefer and it fits this bottle perfectly so I'm as happy as I can be. ... show more

Almost perfect bottle. This water bottle keeps cold drinks cold, and warm drinks warm, for a impressively long time. I am using the wide-mouth cap which screws on and off, I toss this in my bag daily and can rely on the bottle to not leak. The flip top lid is great for hot drinks, but the flip top could pop open and spill if you are counting on tossing this bottle in your bag. If you're using a cup holder, or holding it in your hand, the seal is water tight. The straw lid I found to be a bit tough to drink out of, almost like there wasn't enough room for air to flow back into the bottle to replace the liquid you are drinking. It take a lot of effort. I started with one of these bottles, because I prefer drinking water ice cold, and thru a straw. My daughter saw my bottle and immediately stole it 🤣, so I ordered another. We both love how ice cold this keeps our drink. The other caps are like a leak proof flip up cap for drinking straight out of the bottle, and a screw on cap with a carabiner opening to attach it to your backpack or purse strap. Very handy and convertible, depending on what you need that day. I also like that these are relatively narrow around, for an insulated bottle, so that even my kids can hold them without them falling out of their hands. The insulation of this bottle is amazing! I can leave this out on the counter overnight and in the morning my drink is still ice cold, and I still have actual ice cubes left in it! 😱. I haven’t tried it with a hot beverage yet, but I imagine it would keep my coffee too hot to drink! I like to use my less well insulated cups for coffee, because I like my coffee WARM, not boiling hot. Lol! I’ve now bought a third one so my son can have one too! I really like their gradient colors designs too! I’m sure I’ll be back for even more of these, once my oldest son decides he wants one too. The only improvement I would recommend is including more than one straw for the straw top one, or offering replacement straws for sale. These invariably will end up down the garbage disposal, or accidentally melted in the dishwasher, and it’s not a typical straw size, so it will prove difficult to replace, no doubt. Like the variety of lid options, but the pop touch lid leaks a little. All the others lids do well and don't leak. 2nd time buying because hubby lost the 1st one I bought. I often get compliments on the wood grained finish. Does what it says and keeps ice and beverages cold for extended time. Finish didn't chip or peel like some other brands I've tried. Love that is easy to clean and sanitize all parts thoroughly provided you have a good bottle brush. Good value for the price. Very satisfied. ... show more

I love the insulation of keeping my ice water and that it hasn't leaked, so far. There are 3 lids, I've tried 2 so far. The straw lid kept the ice in the ice water for well over 12 hours and still cool at 24 hours and it doesn't leak when the straw is down. The lid you take off to use the bottle doesn't leak, that's great. But the one experience I didn't like was that lid has a clip to hook it on something and I used it on my basket and as soon as I hit a bump, it fell to the ground. Luckily it made enough noise that I retrieved it. I wish the clip was sturdier. But other than that, it's a great bottle for what I use it for. ... show more

I've been using this bottle almost daily for a couple of months now. It is very sturdy and easy to clean. The insulation works well, too - if I fill it half-full with ice and the rest with water, then keep re-filling with water throughout the day at work, there will still be solid ice in the bottom by the time I get home, 10 hours later. I haven't tried it with hot beverages yet, as I have a travel mug that I use for that purpose. ... show more
