Triple 8’s THE Certified Sweatsaver Helmet for Skateboarding, BMX, Roller Skating, and Action Sports offers comfort and safety with high impact- absorbing EPS foam and thick dual-density soft foam Triple 8 Sweatsaver fabric liners. Dual-certified to comply with US CPSC bike and ASTM F-1492 skate safety standards, it’s the ideal helmet for biking, skateboarding, skating, roller derby, scooters, BMX, and other action sports. Two sets of moisture- wicking, stink-free Sweatsaver liners in two different sizes are included—mix and match for a customized fit. The plush terrycloth liners attach with hook and loop tape and can be removed for washing. Chin strap is adjustable and fastens with a side release squeeze buckle. The Triple Eight THE Certified Sweatsaver Helmet is available in four sizes to fit kids, youth, and adults: XS/S fits 20–21.25 in (51–54 cm), S/M fits 21–22.5 in (53–57 cm), L/XL fits 22.5–23.5 in (57–60 cm), XL/XXL fits 23.5–24.5 in (60–63 cm). I purchased the triple eight helmet for my son to use while skateboarding. He likes the gold retro color and the safety rating is top notch. I have a similar non certified helmet and you cannot tell much difference even though this one has a lot better padding. Quality is great and you can’t beat the price when you catch them on sale. This brand has always been a good helmet manufacturer. They fit good, they are low profile and offer great protection for the noggin. The red color is very nice, I'm a red fan but it also helps for my kids to keep track of me when we are out and about on the bikes or boards. Very comfortable helmet also, they send 2 different size pads for front and back and you can kinda mix and match to fine tune to your head size for ultimate comfort. ... show more

First day wearing it. Skateboarding sessions totaled around an hour for the day, and it is extremely comfortable. Worth the peace of mind and lets me push myself when skating. The pads that came installed are the best fit, so the size chart is perfect. Note there is a little o-ring under the adjustment buckle. These Tony Hawk brand helmets are amazing they're completely safe and go above and beyond the standard/s of what is recommended for a safety helmet. I had just upgraded, purchased a brand new e-bike in March and this e-bike goes fast, it is not a cheap, thin metal/aluminum, unsafe ride; it is definitely powerful and I did not take into consideration that I had just moved to a new city that is not very like friendly or attentive to bicyclers. I was hit by a car on Juneteenth this year, I was not wearing a helmet, I had never purchased a helmet or worn one and I'm 31. I rode bikes snowboarded roller blades, and never feared falling and hurting myself or my head. I am so lucky and thankful that I did not get my head severely injured. My ribs, hip, leg, and a few other parts of my body were/are injured. I purchased this helmet and I am thankful that I did, I was good night e-bike about 20 miles to a different town and literally just sitting at a stoplight I lost my balance and fell off my e-bike hit my head and I did not feel a thing my helmet was a little scratched but not to the point where you could visably notice it. Embarrassing I know. All these helmets are extremely attractive and not just that they don't make your head look really big or like a mushroom they have so much air so your head doesn't get hot and sweaty, along with the adjusters that come with it, you can take them out you can wash them you can adjust the helmet with a different sizes that it comes with it so it's comfortable on your head. The straps are very comfortable and I found it helpful as I never worn a helmet before to watch the video so I knew how to put the helmet on and adjust it so that it was correctly fitted to my head. I will never ride my e-bike or snowboard again without a helmet. Helmets save lives. ... show more
