I so LOVE LOVE this curling iron. Wished I would of discovered it before now. Used regular curling iron on wigs ( don't work, waste of time). Just got to use patience but after using it once I got the hang of it except the bottoms but it's a work in progress. Before / After picture of using iron.

This 2 in 1 styler took some time to get used to. The versatility this offers is nice and perfect for traveling. The biggest downfall is the price.

I bought this to use on my synthetic hair extension wig wearing. And it works as described. Sets the curl, or straightening of the synthetic hair. But, it also work on my own natural hair. To set my hair curling faster.

    • Temps not as advertised and terrible at curling HF synthetic hair
First, the temps settings start at 280º-430º F not 250º-320º F as advertised. The 250 degree setting was why I purchased it for my synthetic hair (heat friendly). Secondly, it's virtually impossible get good curls on synthetic hair. Hair doesn't slide through very smoothly, plus the puny fans don't cool quickly enough at this higher temp so it creates weird kinks instead of nice flowing curls. Almost all the the video reviews are using human hair and nobody mentions the incorrectly listed heat settings. It does straighten well but no better than my $30 flat iron. I'm probably going to return it. ... show more

I bought this tool to style my wigs, and wow! What a game changer! I struggled to style my wigs before I made this purchase. I know there’s lots of styling tools for biological hair, but not so much for wigs. If you have wigs, just buy it! You can thank me later.

I wish I could give this more stars but read on and you'll find out why I can't.... I bought this specifically to style my synthetic (heat friendly) wigs and as a straightener it's great and if I could only get the hang of using it I know it has the ability to curl beautifully BUT it's just so hard to use! I have found it nigh on impossible to not get a weird kink when curling because of the flat edges of the iron itself. I've tried so many times and I just don't have the knack. I LOVE the fan which is great for synthetic wigs as the cooling of the hair is what sets the curl. The fan is not necessary to use when straightening and can be turned off. I'm not giving up on this because the concept is brilliant BUT be prepared to practice A LOT. It could have better instructions with it and I didn't find 'influencers' videos on Youtube to be any real help as they all seemed to have the same struggle I did. It is DUAL VOLTAGE which is great as I am in Europe (3 pin plugs) and it comes with a US plug so I just needed to buy an adaptor (the travel kind) so thankfully there was no need for me to buy a voltage converter. ... show more

    • "Cool" concept, high cost
I don't wear extensions very much, but I do curl my hair and worry about heat damage. So, I thought the way this tool worked was a clever idea to curl my hair without damaging it too much. The first thing I learned is that, if you're curling your hair, you don't use it like a traditional curling iron. You do NOT clamp the end, roll up the hair, and wait. Instead, you do the hair straightener curling method: clamp at the top, wrap the hair around once, and slide the tool down your hair. The tool works well for curling my hair, though it produces curls that are a little tight for my taste. Maybe I have to adjust my technique. That said, I did love having the curls immediately cooled down and set. Another great thing about the tool is that the outside doesn't get scalding hot. Sure it's hot, and you wouldn't want to hold it in your hand for several seconds. But if you accidentally touch it or it hits your neck, you won't be immediately burned. I love the tool for curling the short hairs close to my neck because I don't have to worry about hurting myself. The only drawback is that this tool is rather pricey. I don't think I would pay full price for it. ... show more
