I have been suffering from cystic breakouts for over a year now due to hormonal changes. I have never had acne or breakouts, even from a young age my skin was mostly clear with a few pimples here and there during that time of the month. So when I started having cystic breakouts it was devastating. Large, very painful cystic pimples would show up three and four at a time. I wouldn't be able to clear those up before more would show up. It has been a very difficult time. I was at my wits end with every product I tried since none of them seemed to work. I knew the breakouts were hormonal and there isn't much from the outside I could do to prevent them but I knew there had to be a product out there that at least helped treat them. I did a lot of research and came upon this product. I was skeptical as it was not as expensive as most and I had never heard of the brand but I figured its better to try out a cheaper product and it not work than spend a lot on one and it not work so I gave it a shot. Shipping was quick though I did have some issues with the delivery. Amazon customer service was very helpful and I did finally get the product. At first I was very surprised by the size as it looks much bigger in the picture. I have come to realize you don't need to apply much so it isn't such an issue. It has a strong mint smell which is nice. It does tingle a god bit but that makes me feel like it working =) After just one application I could already see results. I put it on existing pimps and on the spots where I could feel new ones coming up. It immediately cleared up the current ones and the swelling went down over night. The ones I could feel coming up hardly even show their face when I use this product. They barely even swell or turn red. I use it at night when I get home from work and have washed my face. I use a Q-tip to apply a small amount on the spots and leave it there most of the night. It says you can sleep in it but I have noticed it dries and tends to flake pretty easily so I just keep it on until before bed when I wash my face again. I would compare the flaking to how a face mask dries and tightens. It dries and once you talk or move your face it breaks apart and flakes off. That is the only thing I don't like about it. It has seriously been a game changer for me and I have told everyone I know who suffers from cystic breakouts about it. As long as I have these issues I will continue to use this product. Someone from the company even personally emailed me after my purchase asking if I got it and how it was going. I felt they really did care. If you are on the fence about this product just give in and buy it, you wont regret it!!! ... show more

I tried every cream and serum for acne and the products seem to work for a few days then it soon doesn't have any effect anymore. TreeActiv Cystic Acne Spot treatment is a miracle spot treatment. Although, it's very expensive, it's so worth the price you paid for and it's very small so little goes a long way. It's not overly powerful but it's very powerful by killing the bacterial that laid underneath the skin that causes cystic acne. It works great on sensitive skin and I really have sensitive skin. I really can't put anything on my face because I break out very fast. This has now become one of my skin care regimen and I found my miracle spot treatment. I can't do without the TreeActiv Cystic Acne Spot treatment. The ingredients they mixed together, works! I just put dime size over the trouble areas and leave it on overnight by the next morning is gone or the dark spots fade tremendously like it never existed. It's tingle for a few minutes so you know it's working awhile killing all the bacteria then you don't feel it anymore. After I wash it off in the morning, my skin is so soft. Just a miracle! I wish I came across this spot treatment a lot sooner. It also works for blemishes as well and even skin tone. I bought this product for the ingredients, and it's the first thing I've tried from this particular company. BUT LET ME JUST SAY. I have not found a product which is so clarifying, healing, and quick in it's treatment as this product. It just zaps anything you've got under your skin - I've used it on my cystic pimples and normal pimples, and with cystic, it'll take around 2-3 days to truly make a difference. With normal pimples, overnight is all you need. Texture wise, it's basically your standard mud mask. It's very creamy and has a strong scent of tea tree oil. When it dries, it leaves a crusty and cracked cover which has a slight tendency to flake off during the night. I love how natural this product is, and how it's the essential oils doing the work rather than a ton of strange chemicals. I can't wait to try many many more of what this company offers! However: I shall warn you. Prepare to be shocked by how small this jar is. I talking maybe half of your thumb wide and tall. I know. But you don't need much product and it does make it easily portable for traveling. ... show more

UPDATE: As much as I loved this product I was dismayed that it dried out to a hard little stone within the container. At first I thought someone in the house was pilfering my supply but it wasn't the case. Upon one fateful morning when I went to go use the salve I opened the little jar to find out that it had dried out. It's a good product but I hate the fact that it dried out in the container even with the lid sealed shut. There was no mention about the product drying out. *** If you've tried other products then you know what it's like when that product doesn't work. You feel hopeless like there is nothing out there that will help with your problem. That's how I felt until I tried this salve. I had a few problem spots that refused to go away. Yes, I've tried EVERYTHING but nothing worked. Sure the swelling would go down but it didn't get rid of the problem spots. Even prescribed medication didn't fix the issue. So, when I came across this salve I was a bit skeptical but I was willing to give it a try. It does take a few applications with the most stubborn spots but eventually they became smaller, less sore and some even went away completely.
