I take walks during the day where temperatures can reach 100F+ and I needed something that would work in the sun or rain. This fits the bill! It blocks out the sun’s rays so well and helps me stay comfortable on my walks. It holds up well in the rain too. I have it in green and it’s a really beautiful pop of color. Very noticeable which you want when walking around during the day. It’s lightweight and closes down to a really compact size. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it is hard to close. I have chronic joint pain which can sometimes make it a hassle but I’ve found that if I hold the umbrella handle against my torso and then pull in the umbrella base, it clicks in with some force. I am surprised at how I have a quality this is. I had a Van Heusen brand umbrella just like this one that had broken from so much use over so many years and I was very disappointed because there's no more outlet store near me. I was looking for an umbrella that was closely matched to it and this one was almost an exact match.
