Top Amazon Reviews

  • Just what I wanted, might not suit everyone (NEW green T10 Pros)
Color: Green
Not usually a reviewer, but I didn't see any reviews for the new T10 pros with the wireless charging case (just the previous generation black ones--why are those listed under the same link anyway?) so I kind of felt like I was buying these blind, despite the good reviews on previous models. Anyway, if you're in the same boat, here's my opinions on them: Sound: I'm no audiophile, but this is my first pair of wireless earbuds because I always appreciated the sound quality of wired ones. I just used the standard wired Apple earbuds that came with my phone, for reference, and these are not as good as those. It's not really noticeable to me if I'm not explicitly paying attention, except sometimes noticing that the upper ranges are a little indistinct. They're certainly not distractingly bad or anything. Bass is better than I'm used to, but I don't listen to very bassy things so take that with a grain of salt. Other commenters have noted that they are VERY loud when paired with Apple devices in particular, and that's true--the lowest possible volume on my iphone (with the loudness EQ on and sound limit at its min) is just barely comfortable for me when sitting in a quiet room. (I got these for exercise, so it matters a bit less.) Have heard that other devices have better volume control, though, and I didn't have this problem pairing with my laptop, so might not be an issue for you. Noise Cancellation: A little too good for me. I got these for running and want to be able to hear cars. Doesn't completely block sound around you, but I've used them while also using my electric toothbrush (don't judge) without having to turn the volume up more than one notch, which is about as good as I can ask. Noise cancelling is passive not active, which is great if, like me, active noise cancelling gives you a headache. Staying-put-ness: Great! If you put them in the way they say to--twist back so they nest into your ear after inserting them--they don't go anywhere, at least when jogging. I've got tiny ears, too. Mic: No clue, but I've zoomed people with them and I've never had anyone complain about not being able to hear me, so I'll call that a win. Charging: The wireless charging case is great, and the reason I got these rather than the old ones. It's convenient in that once you put the earbuds back into the charging case, the indicator lights on the front of the case light up for a few seconds to show you have much charge you have left in the case, and the lights on the earbuds themselves will stay on until they are fully charged, so you always know. Both earbuds and case charge quickly, but I do feel like both could hold more charge. I've never run the case out, but if I were to guess I'd say it holds three full charges. The earbuds have run out on me once while doing homework, but that was during an all-nighter so maybe that's an unfair standard. Connection: No problems. All my devices have found them quickly and connected well. Sometimes when I've just connected them to a new device, one side or another will cut in and out for a few seconds, but I've never had that issue persist beyond that. Touch controls: Decent. They've got a sweet spot of how long to make your taps--they won't register really short ones--but once you find it they do what they're supposed to. I sometimes toggle the play-pause on accident, but that's mostly a me issue for forgetting about them. Comfort: You can forget they're in--I often do. Sometimes my ears will ache a bit after they've been in for hours, but I've never used a pair of earbuds that didn't do that, and as I've said, I have tiny ears. I use the smallest tips, and those are comfortable for me--ymmv ofc. Aesthetics: If you are a fidgeter, put the case somewhere you can't reach it while in company, or you will annoy everyone playing with the lid. It's very tactilely pleasing. The case looks nice, smooth profile, not too heavy. Says Tranya on the lid but it's in a good sans serif font, and on the green case at least it's in a darker green, not black, and so looks good and not jarring. I am a bit worried about the staying power of the printed letters, as sliding around in a cupholder for one short road trip has started to wear the print off the bottom. The earbuds do stick out further than I would like from face-on, so if you're getting the colorful ones get a color you like, because it won't be hidden. This is a personal thing, but I wish there were colors other than pastels. The green is nice--reminds me of mint ice cream and always makes me hungry--but I would really rather go for a nice vivid red or orange. TL;DR: They're perfect if you just want a pair of decent quality, decently priced earbuds to use casually or go exercise with. They do pretty much exactly what they say on the tin. The bass is nice and punchy, but they compromise with a slightly muddled upper and mid range, so true audiophiles might want to look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Really good for the price! There are still better ones though
Color: Bisque
I like these earbuds and I’m pretty satisfied with them and their sound quality; that being said though, I am definitely a little bit of an audiophile, and I love listening to music that sounds full, in depth, and has really nice bass and clarity across the frequencies—especially the high end. i just love amazing sound quality when listening to music, so I do tend to be a bit pickier when choosing earbuds/headphones. I had some jlabs (lost both pairs lol), and they were really good. they had really nice bass, really nice clarity in the highs, and the mids were pretty decent. But i did a lot of research, aka sifting through tons of amazon reviews and products lol but I came across these and found the most positive review from other peeps who cared about sound quality in their search for headphones. I bought em, so here’s my take :) These earbuds have a nice balance across the bass, mids, and highs, but I would say the highs sound a little dull in sound if you’re on bass mode. You don’t hear as much of that “sizzle” or the clarity/articulation that comes with high frequencies. I listen to a lot of rock and metal, I also listen to some r&b and rap, and I can say that generally the music still sounds really good with these, but the JLab Air Pops and apple earphones/airpods sound much better imho. The bass in bass mode is decent and you get some sub bass but it’s not as hard hitting if you’re a person who enjoys heavy/thumping bass. In normal mode, if you use the spotify eq (i always do), it’ll sound a lot clearer and nicer, even without it, it sounds pretty bice. however, in normal mode you lose some of the fullness that the bass provided in bass mode. The bass has more attack and definition in normal mode but doesn’t carry the spacious and thumping effect of bass and bass mode. Mids still sound really nice and clear, which i love, and the highs sound nicer but still a little quiet (again, just my take on the sound). I love how the mids sound in either mode, they’re very balanced and lack the muddiness that mids tend to have when not eq’d right. Honestly, the mids sound amazing lowkey lol, the best I’ve heard out of most headphones with the clarity that these tranyas have. the mids are balanced in a way that allows for more room and clarity across the whole frequency spectrum, so you can hear everything pretty clearly and distinctly. Bass mode seems to dull things a little bit (primarily the high end) while adding more bass to fill the sound; bass mode still Overall I’d say they’re worth the $20, but I could also buy another $20 pair like the jlabs and have a better pair. ya know what i mean? I def think these are good, and will get anybody by who just wants some headphones, regardless of what they wanna use em for. I’m impressed with the sound quality of these, so I’m satisfied with my purchase, and i’m happy with how music sounds, but I won’t say i don’t wish I had my jlabs or another pair instead. I don’t use the game mode so I can’t attest to that. I also just got them today so i still need to give it some time to see how the battery is; if i remember ill come back and update my thoughts on battery life and call quality! i probably won’t be using game mode My primary concern w finding headphones is the sound quality, and id rate these a 7/10 :) ... show more

  • Great Bubs
Color: Bisque
They are pretty great and u can listen them individually on either ear. Only complaint is I wish the casing held a charge longer than it does. But the sound is great and I get no complaints from friends when chatting with them on the phone about being able to hear me.

  • Second set
Color: White
My other set of Tryna buds stop connecting. I had to to completely drain of battery power. During that time I ordered this upgrade. Bass boost is a nice addition to this set. And the case holds the buds down directly on the charger tangs. Oh, and now the other earbuds work fine now????

  • Update I like Tranya T10 better now
Color: White
Update: 7-17-2023 After using these ear buds more I discovered the method to activate On / Off. Touch and hold for a longer duration switches the on / off function. I raised the Star rating from 3 to 4. Original review: This is my 3rd pair of Tranya earbuds in 6 years. I prefer the older versions with a “click” style control button over the T10 that have a “touch” control. Often when I adjust the fit in my ear I inadvertently mute the sound. Also, if the bud is off I cannot turn it on by touching. I must return the bud to the charging case and remove it to turn on. This newer model doesn’t hold a charge as long as previous models and the charging case requires charging more often. One would think more recent models would improve battery life, not lessen it. A good brand that stands behind their product. I wish there was an improvement in performance. ... show more
