  • Perfect for the beginner
Size: 9PCS
I am just starting out in card making. I'm learning the new skill of layered stamping and these are perfect for adding fine details to the artwork. Great find. Just what I was looking for and they are a great price too!

  • Love these brushes
Size: 9PCS Black
I have two sets of brushes that I like to use depending on what my artwork is for. Both sets are from this brand. I love to use this set for my everyday use. They hold water and paint watercolor beautifully. The bristles are soft and high quality which is great for the price. I love to do 30 day watercolor challenges which means I definitely put these to good use. I would highly recommend. ... show more

  • Nice for the price
Size: 6PCS Short-Handle
Love the feel when holding. Decent points. Even having some better professional brushes, I find myself grabbing these to use. No shedding. I'd buy again.

  • Fantastic value!
Size: 9PCS
I am not a pro, but a starving artist who's always had to make do with sub-par artist supplies, and more often than not, the cheapest I could find. But these brushes are the bomb compared to what I've been using! I don't have any experience with quality supplies, just years of slowly improving using crap supplies, so I guess it all depends on what you're experience is as to how these rate in comparison to high qualiy/For $7 or $8, I expected more crap, however, I was pleasantly surprised that they are so NOT crap, at least in my opinion. ... show more

  • Considering the price, they are surprisingly excellent quality for natural hair brushes.
To be honest, I was looking for a soft, inexpensive brush to pollinate squash plants I grow in my basement. I am a watercolor artist with a large collection of very expensive watercolor brushes, many of which cost almost $100 for one brush. I have a few natural squirrel hair brushes that I most often use for washes since they are soft and hold a lot of water. The squirrel hair brushes are used more as "mops" since they generally do not hold a point and are not good for detailing. When I got these brushes, I was surprised by the quality. Since these brushes are a squirrel hair blend, they hold water and paint, but still maintain the point for detailing. I did decide to use one of them for pollinating my squash, but the rest of them will be used for my watercolor paintings. I would definitely recommend these brushes for beginners as well as experienced painters. I have included pictures of a couple of my paintings so you can get an idea of my paintings. I hope this review was helpful for you. ... show more

  • Excellent for the Price
Size: 9PCS Black
Doesn't get much better at this price point. I bought them for mini painting and specifically to have synthetic brushes for washes, inks, and just to be more rough that I don't want to put my natural brushes through. Highly recommend and will be my go to when I need them. I do wish they were sold individually as I don't really need all of these sizes but would absolutely buy the #1 and #2 brushes all day long. ... show more

  • I’ve been using these for 2 years...
I bought these in 2019. I found my way back to this seller randomly while looking for new brushes, when I recognized these amongst their items. I saw a bad review & decided to stop what I was doing to collect a bunch of brushes to show you how they’ve held up. I had only just began painting in 2019 when I bought these. To say I’ve abused my brushes is an understatement. If I treated people the way I’ve treated these brushes theyd either be disabled dead or suffering from extreme ptsd. As you can see in the picture, that’s pretty much what happened to many different brands of brushes lol The white brushes to the left were the absolute worst!!!!! My habit of forgetting to take them out of water over night has led to the death of those brushes. The biggest most common most annoying problem I run into is the barrel flaking off into my paint. This unknown made in China brand was the worst with Jane Davenport brushes (the {used to be} teal ones) a close 2nd. The first couple all the way on the left are from another unknown made in China brand, every single one of them - & there were many - needed to be super glued so the head would remain on the barrel of the brush. The red ones are from this brand that I’m reviewing....you can clearly see 2 things; 1. They have not a single chip in them & they’re stained with dry paint so they’ve definitely been abused. Back to my analogy of brushes to humans; So white barrel brushes to the left, they’d be dead. Jane Davenport, disabled AF. The black, made in Chinese brand & these red ones are alive, still able bodied but probably suffer from ptsd & will probably never return to their natural fully functional state but if they receive tons of attention they may be able to blend back into society without a problem....but don’t feel too sorry for them cause they’re tough as 5h!t & can CLEARLY handle years w/a novice, who’s irresponsible with a tendency to be a repeat offender of paint brush neglect & of ridiculously long run on sentences 😉 The reason for the last 2 brushes being in the pic are to point out that I don’t understand why sellers list “acrylic AND watercolor” in the description for any one kind of paint brushes when each paint works so differently & each has different needs. These red ones are definitely NOT great for watercolor, the bristles are too thick/stiff. Bc I don’t know exactly how to articulate what makes a great watercolor brush besides having super soft flexible bristles, I figured I’d just toss 2 in the picture to just show you what I mean. Those soft flexible bristles soak up water just like long hair on humans does, which is great when working with water colors....these red brushes are the complete opposite so definitely do not buy them for watercolor or even gouache....these are acrylic all the way!! Hope this helps someone....☺️👍🏼 ... show more
