I put this waist trainer on as soon as I received it couldn't wait. I'm size 14-16, I ordered a 2XL and it fits well. It has a second set of snaps to make it smaller if needed. As I slim down I'm sure I'll be using the adjustment. I do need something for the lower belly as well. So, I will be ordering another type of wrap maybe. I'll wear both if necessary. I've seen them on this site already. In the meantime I'll enjoy this one. It goes up to my under breast area and down just over lower belly. Had no problem zipping it up either. I am not giving 5 stars, I am giving 4 stars, because I just got it and upon opening the package and trying it on there are some minor things I wish were different . I ordered the size based on their chart and I find it true to size. I’ve been a faithful wearer of shape wear (the regular ones that aren’t for sweating) even when I was smaller, and I normally prefer to go a size down but because I already own something like this from a more expensive Brand that I bought years ago and I made the mistake of buying that one slightly a size down, thinking it help me get super snatched, I decided to order the right size for this one. I’ve gained quite a bit of weight from stress and drinking sugary drinks and that goes mostly to your stomach so I can’t fit my old one comfortably. I went into Walmart first and bought the typical trainers they sell but the large one is too large and the normal sized one they sell won’t stay on me because my stomach is too big. So basically after struggling to make that work and wasting ~ $25. I decided to take a chance on this since the price on this was $20 and it was a similar design to my more expensive one that works very well. Here’s what I like: The 3 bands are perfect for a more targeted approach. The more expensive one I have has one band and it just didn’t line up where I would have liked it to on my body to reduce the inner waist more. I didn’t have a Fula before but now I do, and this lower band definitely seems like it would help lower stomach fat. I wanted something specifically for that so that I can train that area to fall back in place properly. The bones in this aren’t very stiff which is a good thing to me. The bones in my more expensive one is feel too stiff or maybe it just feels that way because it’s a little tight and now that I’m heavier it really hurts against my body and causes stretch marks. This one has just the right balance. It’s supportive but not too firm. I really feel I could wear this all day. I didn’t really wear the more expensive one I have much, even when smaller, because it just wasn’t comfortable and It make me sweat a lot. So this may be a negative, but this one didn’t make me feel like I was going to be drenching in sweat, it seems like it will be moderate sweat… but for me that’s okay… because my main focus is supporting my lower stomach and back until I get the muscles in that area tightened and lose weight. Dislikes/ Improvements: I wish it came with a zipper and the clasp. Those kind of clasp break easily so, I would have preferred to have a zipper like my more expensive one and then the clasp for extra cinching. Just trying it on, I already bent one of the clasp . When I took it off, I had to reshape it. If time permits, I may add an inner zipper. I wish the bands were detachable. The reason for this is that everyone’s torso length is different and their natural waste is not in the same place and so it would be more adaptable if people could just add the bands as they choose at the right position along their stomach. Also it would give more flexibility to wear with various clothes. Overall though, I don’t find it too bulky and I think it can be worn under most things. Update 1: Put it on the just for a few hours to try it. day. I didn’t sweat at all. Now I do feel that’s strange. My other one caused me to sweat when I wore it only for a very short time … like even 10 minutes. I didn’t buy this to be drenching in sweat but I think some sweat is helpful. I dropped it to 3 stars for that reason. I think most will buy this to sweat. With this I feel I need to add something to my stomach to get it to sweat . ... show more

I ordered this waist trainer purposely because I had just given birth and I needed a waist trainer to put my abdominal muscles and everything else back into place. So let me start off by saying that the hospital had provided me with an abdominal binder that I wore for 2 weeks postpartum. Although that binder was tight, it really did not help me with tightening up my stomach. Then this product was recommended to me and I purchased it. When it came in, let me tell you it was soooo hard to put on in terms of it not closing. My husband had to help me close the zipper while I sucked in my stomach as much as I could. Once it was on, it held everything in place so tight and good and did not make me feel uncomfortable one bit! Now after wearing it for a week my stomach had gotten smaller and I was able to put it on by myself. It has helped me so much and am very satisfied with it. I would totally recommend it to anyone! Now I am on week 4 and I am able to clip to the 3rd clip and have even seen a little bit of curves come in! Based on the size recommendations it suggested I buy A 2x. I typically Wear a large. However, When I received it even in the tightest clip it was still room for me to slide my hand in. These are meant to be a little tight. Otherwise, It was super comfortable and I love The zipper and clip option. I'm returning this one and sizing down to a xl. I really Think it's going to be super comfortable and good to wear during the day when I'm not working out. Update- I have Purchased an xl that was still too big and then a large that fit just a little tight but I still wore it on the third clip. I now Have a medium that fits right with room to downsize in clips. I cant Say where they get their seizing recommendations for but for me - one size down from my regular size was the fir I wanted. I normally wear a large and ended up with a medium. The 3 other sizes were larger or email to my usual size and way too big. Again, these ar em want to be tight on the loosest clip with roomy to tighten. I wear This during the day when I'm doing nothing as shapewear. I would Not wear this to work out because I like A rubber feel to sweat when working out and it's also easier to wipe clean. This would need to be put in the washer and I dont Think it would have the same result in causing sweat. So now that I have The right size it's great but I asp Have three I purchased That went to waist until I fond Someone to give them too so the sizing is tricky. ... show more
