This is a very good umbrella for the price. It's sturdy and well made, doesn't feel cheap, and the open/close mechanism is responsive and quick. It provides good coverage without being huge and hard to walk around with, folds up to a pretty compact size, and the handle is comfortable to hold. These umbrellas have a lifetime warranty, so I emailed TradMall and told them what happened. I wasn't even sure they'd answer, but I had a reply within hours. The customer service person I spoke with (Tracy) was friendly and professional, and by the evening of the day I sent the email, they'd placed an order for a replacement umbrella, no questions asked. Fantastic umbrella! I researched and chose this one and I'm glad I did. It is very sturdy. I didn't care much about the size but it is small enough to easily carry around. Not very heavy. Pops up very, very easily. Some reviews said it was hard to close which is partially true but every sturdy umbrella I've had was a bit hard to close. It is because there is such a sturdy mechanism inside so you have to push it a bit from the top until it clicks when closing. I don't see a problem with that. Love it! ... show more
