    • A little disappointing
It arrived with paint already scraped off which means it will rust quickly since bare metal shows. Otherwise it does what it’s designed to do, but I expected this to be a long term solution. Now I expect to need a replacement in a year or two.

Here in New Mexico, we live down a Mud and Rut filled road which is about four miles to an asphalt state road. Any rain or snow means ruts six to eight inches deep. this boot scraper IS cast iron, it is heavy, and it definitely does what a boot scraper is supposed to do. the stakes go in the ground deeply enough to make it sturdy and usable. i looked at several boot scraper options, but while a lot of them were fancied up and maybe looked cuter, none of them had the long stakes, and i questioned how they could hold up to scraping mud off boots. this one does its job, and i have been very pleased with it. ... show more

This product is as advertised. It has heavy-duty construction. It looks cool outside the house, giving the place kind of an old-time look. It came in the mail quickly and is very sturdy. It could be a little bigger and have a place to scrape the sides of my boots instead of just the bottoms.
