  • Quality net, plenty large, super price point
Love it. Buy it.

  • Perfect!
We actually got this for our wedding cake to keep the bugs away during our outdoor reception. It was perfect! Just make sure the net overlaps and it stays off the ground.

  • Item had a hole
I bought a return and it had a hole in it. I’ll patch it and use it to cover my fruit tree but I feel that should have been disclosed in the description.

  • mosquito netting
This item was exactly what I expected. It is long enough to hang from my Costco gazebo cross frame,(had to get a hook), it has a large thin plastic ring at the top that expands the net so it is easy to distribute the netting evenly, and the top has a little metal ring where I attached the hook. I purchased a really nice Euro-Lounger from Costco and this net fits the entire lounger. It has an opening all the way down that is then draped over the other side to enclose the area. I tucked it under the padding so that it would be more effective than letting it hang to the floor as the gazebo is on my deck and of course the deck is not bug proof because of the space between the boards. The netting looks fragile but so far has held up very well. For the price, I expect to get one each year as long as the price doesn't increase much. I really liked the idea that some one used this net for a bird netting over their fruit tree. I will probably use the netting from the previous year to cover the fruit trees, to extend it's useful life, keeping it out of landfill for as long as possible. This looks like it will work as an inexpensive way to cover my raised garden beds making it easier to grow organic produce. I would think a shepherd's hook, etc. in the center, should give the net enough height to work. ... show more

  • Well constructed with lightweight material
I got this to cover a huge milkweed (9 feet, give or take) and protect monarch larva and chrysalises. It was easy to install and has held up well for being outside in direct sunlight, torrential rain, and occasional, heavy wind. Really durable, my caterpillars love it ❤️

  • seems like a fine product although insufficient for my needs
The product seems fine although it was insufficient for my needs. To address comments from others: - the mesh seems small enough to stop RI mosquitos although perhaps not fine enough to stop the super-pesky no-see-ums. - there is an opening, an area where the mesh overlaps itself instead of being a solod column. One can enter thru the mesh without having to duck under - the flexible ring that holds open the mesh was easy to open and close - it was not long enough to meet my needs. I wanted to put it over my 6' umbrella and have a little mosquito-free and sun-shaded mini gazebo. My 6' umbrella used up too much fabric and this would not reach to the ground. I'm sure that if I wish to forsake the umbrella then I can have a mosquito-free zone by hanging this from a tree. (But I need sun shade.) Per someone else's advice I bought heavy washers to hold the mesh to the ground when in use. Perhaps in evenings (when sun is not an issue) I will use it from a tree with the washers to keep it from blowing in a breeze. ... show more

  • We did not need it but it is the kind used everywhere.
Fortunately most spots did not need netting and most of the ones that did supplied it in the hotel and the mosquitoes were not bad, the incredible amount of rain this year. It is the same as most of the hotels provide with a single ring in the center so easier to use but the kind that goes over a wooden frame sticks to you less. If you are going into the jungle and you expect to be sleeping under netting bring four washers and 4 safety pins. Pin the washers on the netting in the corners so it has some weight and will not bunch up on you while you are asleep. I got about 40 bites in a 4" square area on my arm where the netting touched me and they could bite through, on a previous trip. Also bring DEET spray it on your clothes while walking around, they can bite through a T shirt. ... show more

  • Good value for price
For the $10 I paid for it, it is well worth the money. The large ring at the top is made of the same thin metal that the "twist and fold" laundry hampers are made of - perfect for camping and such (though it doesn't come with something to pack it back into and the packaging is too flimsy to reuse). There is ring that can hang from hook or you can tie a string to to hang at the right height. It is tapered from the large ring to the full length. Hung at 7.5 feet it fit nicely around a queen bed 2 feet off the ground perfectly without gaps - there is a little stretch to it but if you stretch the netting would distort and maybe allow bugs through. It seemed "cheap" or thin feeling, but after a weekend of snagging wood, velcro and bra hooks on it (though all were carefully removed after I realized there was a snag), I believe it's durable enough for the price. The stretchiness helps here I think - the little boxes stretch and go back to shape rather than immediately tear. I'm buying another and recommended to friends who need them. ... show more
