This is the second time I've purchased one of these bags. The first time I got two of them and they have lasted for several trips. My husband and I use the bottom section for our scuba/diving gear and the top for clothes and everything else. Very convenient and you can haul a lot of stuff! Granted, it's not the sturdiest bag if you need it to last for regular/frequent travel but it's great for once or twice a year vacation. The bag I replaced cracked along the undercarriage where the wheels attach. I was able to duct tape it and it is still functional, but I've had it for a few years so I figured I might as well get a new one because it's not that expensive. It's about time to retire my husband's first duffel because of the wheels, too, and I'll definitely get him another one of these! ... show more

I bought two of these bags for my sons since they needed a bigger bag for traveling. We took it on two trips. During the first one the wheels caved in and the bag scraped on the ground causing the bag to rip (see picture). This happened on both of the bags! On the second trip, the bottom zipper broke on one of the bags. The bag is completely unusable since the bottom can not be closed up. What a mistake buying these bags were!! ... show more

I needed to find a more affordable option for umpire bag, this did the trick. Lots of space, looks well put together. I haven’t had the chance to put it through the ringer yet. Look forward to using it for travel as well.

I bought this and really liked the size and the fact that it was a roller duffle bag. I used it on a cruise for me and my 2 kids. Total weight = 52 lbs. Wheels began to bend (see pic of minor bending with minor pressure from my foot pushing it down) after a few hundred feet and I could hear the bottom scraping (see damage in pic), so I had to pick the thing up and carry it. Super disappointed. I brought it home and decided to fix it and maybe the manufacturer will take a look at these mods and fix their design because it could be a great product. Here are some pics for anyone who chooses to buy it and wants to prevent it from failing in the middle of their vacation. 11" - 1x2 piece of wood to fit snug between the wheel housings (see pic). 12 - 1/2" self drilling screws with washers for the rails on the bottom to hold the weight of the fabric to the bottom rails (see pic). 4 - 1" self drilling screws with washers to hold the two plastic wheel housings to the 1x2 and the middle of the underbelly when on rollers to be firm to the 1x2 to prevent it from dragging or bending (see pic). Now, it wont drag or bend at all with the same weight in it. I bet it would hold 100lbs. :) If this is not worth your time, don't buy if you expect more than 40lbs or return it when it fails. Purchased in January 2022 and only used for ski trips. This bag was never packed heavy, only for bulky winter clothes, so was probably never even loaded to 45 lbs. and probably used 10 times or less. This weekend, when I rolled it from our rented condo to the car for a return trip home, I noticed that it was sagging and dragging. Turns out that one of the reinforcing rails on the bottom of the bag split cleanly into two pieces and the bag completely lost its structural integrity. Loved the high volume, love the "dropbottom" design as it allowed me to segregate things like snow boots and slippers from soft clothing. But the overall build quality is EXTREMELY low; handle stock is thin and flexes when you pull the bag. The wheels are cheap and only roll okay. Zippers are low grade, but they work. I intentionally didn't buy a $300 bag as I thought that the lighter weight loads I used it for wouldn't break the bag down, but it failed after relatively few uses. ... show more
