I love these trays. All of my serving platters were broken in transit when we last moved and I was thinking I should replace them with ceramic or porcelain ones. Then I saw these, which looked to be good-sized, are attractive, and, judging from the reviews, can withstand hot items from the grill.     • Can Be Used To Hold Cups And Plates

Personally, I use this to hold up cups with liquid inside. I don’t see how you could hold dishes such as food inside, but for plates and cups it’s works well! Pretty good quality too!

I love that the trays stack and the "uncooked" one can just be under while I drink my beer and grill. They are sturdy and I can hold them one handed. They have yet to get over heated, and I suspect the only way they would melt is if I put them directly on a grill. I had been looking for this product for years with out knowing it! I always was bringing my uncooked meat out on metal cookie tray, and the tray would get hot outside and next to the grill. I was having to wash the try during the middle of BBQ so I could have a sanitary place to off load cooked food. I also used silicon mats to help keep uncooked and cooked separated, but they would warm up oddly next to the grill. Get this product. 11/10 recommend. ... show more

I had a tray which has sides that are about 2 inches high which was fine for drinks, but did not work if you wanted to eat something with a knife and fork.
