  • Great Thermostat!
My car, a 2001 Toyota Camry Le 4 cylinder, was running cold. It would never get up to proper operating temperature. Now after installing this new thermostat it works great. You just need to buy a gasket for it. I bought mine at Autozone.

  • Great fit!
Fit perfectly - as OEM should. But docking it a star...really wish they'd throw in the gasket, it's weird to have to track that down and purchase separately.

  • Easy to Install - Fits
Works great, you need to also get a gasket for it, you can find it at your local auto zone part #: 35292 Duralast/Fel-Pro Water Outlet Gasket. Tip: when burping air out of your radiator, lift the front of the car with a jack, it helped a lot.

  • Don't skimp on thermostat - get OEM
My original Thermostat must have lasted for 250K miles before it got stuck on Open. The replacement which was a fancy "fail open" one only lasted 40K miles. As big of a pain it is to install these on the Rav4s, I happily spent a little more to get OEM. I got mine from the Fred Haas Toyota world seller on here since I know they are very reputable. Not saying others aren't but I'm always a little skittish buying from 3rd party sellers. Also, keep in mind that the O-ring does NOT come with the OEM. You need to buy that separately. It's called a Water Inlet Gasket. Also, be very careful not to pinch the said O-ring while you struggle to get the bottom screw tightened. Again it's terrible placement with the Oil pump being in the way. I did that and had a leak and had to take it to my mechanic who laughed at me for failing at it. He fixed it though because he's a good guy, but I deserved to be laughed at. ... show more
