This cover is easy to use and made of quality material. It does not feel cheap or easily tear-able. The cover is quite large for my 10ft sit-in kayak. I would not leave the cover on when transporting via vehicle. Great for storage though!

The media could not be loaded. Installed these on my kayaks Saturday. Had a light rain yesterday. Found more water inside then on the outside.

    • Nice kayak cover
I wanted to be able to travel with my kayak strapped to the back ladder of my RV without it getting covered in road grime and bugs. This kayak cover does the trick. My kayak is only 9.5 feet long so this cover is quite a bit larger. That's not ideal but I knew from the size description that my kayak is on the smaller end of what this cover fits. I can just wrap it around and put a strap around it to keep it from flapping in the wind. The cover itself seems pretty durable while still being small and light enough to handle easily. I don't think it would protect very well from regular abrasion or sliding over something sharp, but as long as it's just used to protect the kayak from the elements it should last a good while. I'm glad to have a way to protect my kayak from the fading and cracking effects of the sun as well as all the road grime that can accumulate while driving long distances. They are baggy! Made for up to 13 ft so my 10ft 6 kayaks look small in them but I roll and tuck the extra and it works great back is squared off

I live on a lake and have two kayaks that I keep on my dock in a kayak rack. That works great for storing them with easy access except for one problem, spiders love to make their home on and inside my kayaks! I really don’t like creepy crawlies in my boat. So, I ordered this cover to see whether it will help. If it works well for me, I will definitely order one for the second kayak too! I know that I will still have webs and spiders on the outside of the cover but if they aren’t inside the boat I will be ecstatic. The cover is well made and seems very durable, it certainly repels water well enough when I tested it. However, it is only March and there is still ice on the lake so I am not using the cover with the kayak yet and can’t speak to how easily it will go on and off the boat. The storage bag will get a lot of use also so that the cover won’t blow off the dock when I take it off the kayak. I will also store the kayak(s) inside the cover for the winter months inside my garage. I will need to report back on how this experiment pans out for me! ... show more
