Metallic blue purchase, and it wasn't a perfect match. It is passable from a distance. It takes a little practice to apply, and it does smell bad, so don't do in your garage. If you're buying this, obviously you don't have a show room quality car, if that's what you're going for, you need to look elsewhere. I had a few scratches on my Model 3 (Deep Blue Metallic color) and got this to cover them up. The price was much more budget friendly then OEM, so I decided to give it a shot. It's not bad at all! It is easy to use to cover small scratches and dings. It helps if you have some experience with this kind of work, if not - watch some videos, it's not complicated but helpful. Do not putt too much in one go if the scracthes are deep, work in thin layers with enough time to dry in between. Polish clean after if needed. The color is almost perfect. If you are looking for differences, you will spot it but you won't notice it if not looking for it. It could also be due to sun exposure discoloration of the original paint. Color: Ultra Red
This is a good color match for the Ultra Red Tesla paint. It might be just a smidge lighter, but that could be because Telsa uses a tinted clear coat that creates a little inconsistency (and touch up never matches 100%). You can't really tell in minor/extremely small, like nicks. If you have a rock chip or a decent scratch, I recommend getting the Tesla touch up, since it has a blending agent to smooth out the depth and color. This is good for minor imperfections. The pen tip is particularly useful since it uses a very minor amount of paint and is easy to control. The brush (like all touch-up brushes) tends to be a little heavy and hard to use surgically. Ultimately, it's good to have this and the Telsa kit for any touch ups you might need to do. ... show more

I wasn't super picky about how well this would match, but it's so far off that it makes the chips look worse than before I applied the paint. Luckily, I didn't do every chip before I realized how off the color was. Save the trouble and just spend the money on touch-up paint directly from Tesla.

I got a scratch on the hood of my Model Y so I wanted to try to this paint to see if it would cover it up. When you open the paint, the color looks exactly like the ultra red but depending on your scratch, it may stand out. The scratch I have is kind of deep so the red paint colors it in but it still stands out. It is also on the hood of my car so it is hard not to see it. When you put it on, I would recommend buffing it otherwise it kind of looks like you just put nail polish on the scratch.
