The shades come flat and you have to make them - cheap looking so I had to replace the shades. The touch feature worked well on one and horrible on the other. They look nice but definitely not worth the money and if I hadn't needed them for guests coming I would have returned.

the packing (from China) was banged up, Inside of an Amazon box which was in good shape. Contents were not damaged thankfully. however, lots of foam pieces in the China packed box. quite the mess! One lamp works with touch however, it is slightly 'blinking' which could be annoying when bedside. Note: the lampshade is knock down as mentioned online. will do, but plan to replace with something nicer. also, the details show it will take 100W which was why I purchased, but on the lamp clearly states not to exceed 60W (could be safety issue) all that said it looks fine but not totally pleased yet with the product. hopefully the 2nd lamp will not 'blink'. ... show more

Right next to the sofa, it was easier to touch the base to control the brightness while reading or watching the TV. This lamp looks so contemporary. Also, each lamp has a USB port, so easy for me to hook up rather than to be plugged on the outlet.
