Description

The TOTO® WASHLET® G400 Bidet Toilet Seat with Integrated Dual-Max, Dual Flush 1.28 and 0.9 GPF Toilet with PREMIST™ combines the comfort and convenience of TOTO®’s bidet seats with the power of TOTO®’s 3D Tornado Flush system. The WASHLET® G400 comfort features begin as you approach the toilet. The lid automatically opens hands-free to welcome you. The automatic PREMIST™ sprays the CEFIONTECT toilet bowl surface. CEFIONTECT, TOTO®’s innovative ceramic glazing, prevents waste from sticking to the bowl. The combination of the PREMIST™ and CEFIONTECT helps to minimize the frequency of cleaning, reducing the amount of water, harsh chemicals, and time required to clean the toilet. When you take your rightful place upon the toilet, you can feel the warmth of the heated seat. The seat has 5 seat-warming temperature settings that are especially useful during the cold of winter. An automatic air deodorizer activates to hide unpleasantries. As your journey comes to a close, you can access the remote control and start the cleansing process. A self-cleaning wand will appear to wash your nether-regions. You are in total control, as you select a front cleanse, soft rear cleanse, rear cleanse, oscillating cleanse, or pulsating cleanse. The variable temperature and pressure settings allow you to adjust the warmth and intensity of the spray. You may also decide to save your preferences with the two user memory feature so that you may instantly access those at a later visit. You may start the air dryer with 5 temperature options to reduce the moisture left behind from the cleaning. The automatic Dual-Max flush will determine the necessary flush volume and begin as soon as you rise. The powerful flushing of the 3D Tornado Flush, aided by the CEFIONTECT glaze whisks away all of the evidence. Upon leaving, the lid automatically closes as if saying “Goodbye.” Using a WASHLET® reduces the need for toilet paper, saving trees and water used to manufacture each roll. As we get older, our mobility can deteriorate and make it increasingly hard to clean ourselves after toileting. Medical conditions such as ALS, MS and other debilitating illnesses can make using the bathroom without assistance almost impossible, but with a WASHLET®, just the touch of a button can leave you feeling clean.

Love, love, love the heated seat. Even in summer, it's nice. course I had a plumber install, but he didn't seem to have any trouble.

  • Near great product
Color: Cotton White
I was one minute away from ordering the BioBidet Integrated bidet/toilet when I decided to read the owner’s manual. Manual states that unit cannot be flushed while occupied. Customer Service denied that problem exists but could not explain the discrepancy, so I ordered the Toto instead. It does not have that problem. The basic choice is between a retrofitted bidet toilet seat, which cost 1/4 as much as this unit, or an integrated bidet toilet. With either, the only reason to use dry tissue, is to absorb excess water from the bidet sprayer before activating the blow dryer. IF you don’t do that, then the only things you have to touch are the buttons on the remote. I can compare my Brondell retrofitted seats with this integrated toilet. The Bidet functions are similar with both product types and both function extremely well. The big differences are in the toilets, not the bidet functions. Traditional toilets have many moving parts: flapper, float, fill valve, lever arm. They also have a gasket between the bowl and water closet. All of those areas will eventually fail. The Toto eliminates all of those problem areas. Integrated unit is all electronic. I think it extremely unlikely the bowl will ever overflow and flood the toilet room floor. Toto: if you ever need to replace the seat, or repair it off the bowl, the bowl must be uninstalled in order to remove the seat. The bowl design results in water covering a much smaller portion of the bowl than a traditional bowl design. That will result in additional unpleasant cleaning for your maid. Water spray starts to cool after only one minute. Very few moving parts. Brondell: Raising the lid only slightly increases the depth of the opening, because the bidet controls have to be built into the back of the seat. That means if the unit is used as a urinal, there will be additional cleaning needed. Provides an endless stream of warm water. installed over traditional toilet with many moving parts subject to failure. ... show more

  • I call mine Jim (so I can say I woke up early and went to the Jim)
Color: Cotton White
My Toto Washlet (aka "Jim") was the best purchase of my adult life. When we purchased our new home, we decided to have various renovations done before we moved in. One of those, at my request, was to find an upgraded toilet for the master bathroom. That's when Jim entered our life. I used a bide system when in Japan and have wanted one ever since. It is such a pleasure to have a nice warm seat to heat my tush followed by a warm stream of water in the morning...sometimes I think that Jim does love me and only wants to make me happy...his only purpose. I say good morning to Jim (and he says hello while opening his lid when I walk near him). He asks me about my morning and let's me know we can continue our discussion after coffee. It's been a complete pleasure. It does not need cleaning as the prestream of water allows for the "flush" to keep the bowl clean. The carbon filter system also eliminates any odors that accompany this activity. Tonight, when I put my head on the pillow, I can rest a little easier knowing that Jim is there, waiting for me, ready to take care of me. Everyone should have a Jim in their life. ... show more

  • Tell your friends!
Color: Cotton White
So what does one say about $2000 toilet, or to be exact a washlet? Well, it’s worth every penny spent and saved! Yes, saved. If bought directly from the manufacturer it runs $3300 or so. I bought this because the bathroom was being remodeled for my brother who is in a wheelchair, we needed an ADA toilet and then I saw the movie Why Him and it got me thinking. I knew about bidets so I went looking and lo and behold I found nirvana. Everyone I told thought I was crazy but I tell you it’s just heaven. Castro, as my mother calls him, greets you by raising the lid for you. You plant yourself on a warm surface that just invites you to let go. And you do. Then comes the fun, you choose your water pressure and position just wash those cares away. And wash. And wash. Ladies it’s just as fun as you would think it is! You can pulsate or oscillate and pick your temperature. When you are done then you hit dry and warm air blows on your butt as you rise it flushes itself so no more finding something left behind by a forgetful person. I bet you are wondering if it’s so amazing why only 4 stars? Ok not gonna lie a few minor issues. First was the lid rose constantly, I mean it never stopped so I turned the auto part off. Ok not that big a deal. You still need to use TP unless you you plan to sit forever waiting to be dried. A little pat with some TP and you are good to go. Now the one that does suck, as great as the wash is it doesn’t always get the job done. Some extra cleanup maybe needed. All that being said, still amazing and worth it. My mother asks if I’m just using the toilet or abusing it. I respond...I paid $2000 for this toilet, I’ll abuse it if I want to!!! ... show more

  • One of the best things about our new bathroom
Color: Cotton White
We've had this installed in our new bathroom for about 6 months, so I feel like I can write a factual review (sort of). The thing is, we love this toilet. You walk towards the toilet, it opens, you sit down, do your business, rinse get yourself nice and clean, then you leave, the toilet closes and flushes itself. It sounds ridiculously extreme but I like it more than our big soaking tub, more than our walk in shower and about the same as our heated floors. I've been a fan of bidets for years. We wanted a bidet in our new bathroom but we didn't want to give up the floor space for a bidet. We chose this washlet. The water volume is lower than a traditional bidet only fixture. The remote that moves the nozzle around works very well and you have control of the location and pressure of water to clean yourself. It takes some getting used to, but it works very well. I had some concerns about the moving parts, but no problems so far. I travel a fair amount, and I usually rate things based on how much I miss them while traveling. This is tied with our Sleep Number bed as things I miss the most when I'm gone. So, yes, I feel a bit "bougie" submitting this review. We bought it, we love it, and in our opinion we'd buy it again for our master bathroom. ... show more
