It wasn't difficult to do by self at all, but some may need a second pair of hands for a moment or two. I believe I got it all unpacked and up in around 40 minutes at most. It's a good size but I wish it was slightly bigger but I knew that before I made the purchase. It's solid as it stands, raised or lowered. the assembly was pretty easy (I did it alone, which gets a bit heavy but I managed). the motor is SO QUIET and smooth. i wanted something just a bit more than the usual table, and the snubbed L on the right is perfect for a bit of extra work space. you will want monitor risers (or monitors with vertical adjustment) to have your monitors and keyboard at comfortable levels (especially for standing mode). ... show more
