I like adjustable desks, I also like L shaped ones - I like having the extra space on one side if I want to use a notebook and a monitor, it also makes me feel cozy. I used to have one from IKEA but after I moved I had to get a new one so I decided to try this out for the price and I think it's great for what it is. The table is study, it's able to hold a decent amount of weight. It has up to 4 presets and I only use two (standing and sitting height). It's not as deep as I would have like however if you get an adjustable arm to hold up your monitor then it really clears up space and feels perfectly fine. As you can see it holds my widescreen. The desk is two pieces of wood that you'll have to put together along with the other desk parts - figured I'd call this out in case anyone wants just one piece of wood. I really like the optional hanger it comes with that you can attach to the bottom of the table, you can hang headphones underneath the desk if you'd like which I do. Really love this standing desk!!! I purchased the electric standing desk as a working desk for my home office room. First of all, unlike regular desks that are usually rectangular, this one was designed in an L shape, which provides me with extra desktop space. My right hand said it feels really good, and 55 inch is just right. And the beautiful table top - simple yet elegant rustic design make the desk matches the rest of the furniture in my room. Importantly, the adjustment motion is swift and does not wobble my setup at all. It raises and lowers quickly and smoothly. Also this desk is much heavier than I thought, legs are made of thick & good quality metals. I believe it is well made. I would say that it is worth the price. The media could not be loaded. (Please excuse the goofy facial expressions in the video. I have "resting grump face" and I didn't want to look like a grouch.) I'm 6 ft. 1 in. tall (185cm), my robot drawing in the background is 4 feet tall. I have always had a tough time working if it requires too much sitting. Due to some health issues, I'm going to have to start working from home, and did NOT look forward to using the sit-down desk that we've had at the house for years. Too much sitting causes a lot of back and leg pain, and having a stand-up work station has been a lifesaver. We bought this desk on sale, but it is well worth it at full price. It is surprisingly sturdy, the "rustic wood" finish looks great with our house's old hardwood flooring and accents. The amount of height range you get with this desk, along with the programmable memory buttons, make this very versatile for tall people. When the box was delivered it was obvious that it took a lot of abuse on the way. This was packaged really well but the styro foam inside was broken everywhere. I feared the worst but it was mainly intact. Just one corner took a hit and was damaged for which Amazon refunded me with 25% of the price which was fair. The assembly was easy and the instruction good. Product is sturdy and feels quite good. It holds my 2 32 inch monitors and computer. I enjoy standing at the desk and use the memory buttons for different heights. I would buy again ... show more
