I have purchased products by this manufacture in the past; cutting boards, salad bowls, etc., and have been happy with all of them until this one. I washed it when I received and noticed that where the tree design was in the center of the board it was bleeding color. I let it thoroughly dry and then oiled it with oil specifically for bamboo. I got it out to use it on Christmas Day and was shocked to see a 9" crack right through the center of the Board. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. It was past the date to return it, so the next best thing was to write this review. I have had my other boards for 20 years with no problem. ... show more

We've hated other cutting boards that brag "large trenches", this is the first one that legitimately does! Just don't forget to get the revitalization oil!
