This is a great cutting board. I was a little concerned because it replaced a slightly larger one and I thought I would miss the extra work space, but the bowls more than make up for it because you are clearing each item into a bowl as you cut. And you can rotate the bowls from the side as you cut different items into them so they stay separate in the bowls. And you can give them a shake to make room for a large quantity, say a large onion. It’s a little taller to accommodate the bowls, but I like the additional height. After seeing other reviews I oiled it with mineral oil right away and that has not been a problem. I also found that it slid a bit on the counter, so I added some foot pads and now it is very stable. Buy it, you will like it. ... show more

Nice board and ss bowls. When applying the mineral oil with a rag to seal it like recommend I had a splinter that caught the rag and pulled a larger splinter off the board. It was on the bottom of a leg so it's not a deal breaker. The grooves around the board to catch juices are rough. Should be smoother for cleaning. ... show more

This cutting board is a good idea, however the liquid groove is level and if the board is level liquids dont flow into the pan quick enough to prevent a mess. I have had the board for one year and now the individual boards are seperating. I have washed this by hand and never soaked it. It is still functional but as the boards split further the food particles get stuck in the gaps. I would not but this again ... show more
