Purchased to hang pots and pans from above our sink. It was easy to put together - didn't really need the instructions - and compared to buying the same black iron parts from the hardware store, the price for this kit was at least comparable, if not cheaper. Worth it to have all the parts pre-selected and save a trip to Lowes. I mounted this upside-down on the underside of a cabinet, which I imagine you can do with any of these pot bars with a similar design. The four screws on each side seem like they will hold it securely to the wood and take a lot of weight, and since I was going directly into 3/4" plywood I didn't use the wall anchors it came with. I wouldn't be as confident about the weight if this were mounted to drywall, even with the anchors. The only thing I didn't like about it was the hooks it came with, which are about 5" long. Since I mounted it to an over-sink cabinet upside-down, the pots hang slightly too low. Easy fix, just need to get some hooks that are 2-3", but the other thing is with this being a 1" bar, your options for hooks are a bit limited, and many of the ones designed for this application are 5" or so length. I eventually found some shorter purse hangers, which also have a 90° offset hook, so I will be able to get everything to hang sideways. ... show more
