I have to purchase extra screws to hold the horizontal poles. They tend to lift up if your mattress isn't heavy enough to keep them down (or if your partner is heavier than you) Overall its a relatively sturdy bed frame. Its big enough for a Cali king. I just have a basic king size.

Great looking Cali King Frame - TLDR - at this price point it can't really be beat. Pros - -Bed frame itself is sturdy, silent, nice design. No nicks or dings, weld points are decently clean (nothing stuck out as a bad / ugly weld, but you can see them), black powder coat appears evenly distributed and well applied. -Packaging wasn't overly complicated. Box is quite long, is pretty heavy. -Every bit of hardware is labelled (A-K) and in decent resealable bags. A few extra screws, nuts, and washers are included in case of cross threading / misplacement. Cons - Due to the design (which makes it very sturdy, so this isn't quite a negative), it takes a lot of nuts and bolts. You can definitely do this solo, but having another person to help by pre-threading nuts on to hold the long pieces up makes it go much faster. For the price point, this frame surprised me on the quality overall. ... show more

The head railing had several dents and looked like it was scratched. Foot railing had one dent and one of the support was slightly bent. It was not with Twenty dollars for shipping but it was worth Forty dollars for the bed. Luckily the mattress is thick enough to covers the dents to where you can't see them. ... show more
