It's a little pricey but absolutely worth it! I don't really use it for transport much, just storing after I bake for my family, but it's amazing for both! They stay fresh for days, the lid locks tight with one or both trays, easy to wipe clean, amazing quality. It is rather large so make sure you've got the cupboard space! The only small thing I would change about it is that the holes are basically as deep as a cupcake cup in the bottom tray. It's kind of hard to get them out without getting frosting on your fingers. But it is absolutely not a deal breaker for me! ... show more

I made it from Denver to Albuquerque for a baby shower with these cupcakes in perfect condition. Through TSA to the airplane and even the bumpy rental car shuttle ride they arrived looking beautiful. Now, if I had it to do over again I'd use some sturdy tape on the underside just for a little more security. If you're not careful the top can shift a bit and it could become unstable. I had to adjust it a couple of times. It also worked well for storing cupcakes at home. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. This is made if heavy good material and most importantly, the closing snaps are holding it secure. I bought this to replace a different cupcake holder that had rather less substantial clasps and I was afraid that they would come loose. Not this on one, they take a little effort to close and open, but they hold. I’ll be betting the cake carrier next. ... show more

The caddy has excellent height for the top shelf, however the lower shelf has less clearance. Additionally, the lid will occasional slip side to side and the the top layer will collapse on your lower as a leg pops out. It does make for a nice serving rack when not in carrying mode.
