The ones that come with the decorations are usually plastic or a thin metal that pulls out with a high wind. Drive these into the ground and they hold. I got these to secure my underground internet cable that runs through landscaping stones before getting to my house. Over time the stones settled at round the cable leaving it exposed above ground.
