These are pretty heavy duty storage boxes. I plan on using them for small parts on a service truck we have at work for field repairs. I really don't know where to begin, they are just a good quality box. The hinges, material, latches, etc it's all of good quality and durable. I don't recall them stacking well, which could be undesirable for some people, but not a bother for me. The price seems reasonable when considering the size and quality in construction of them. Sure you can buy cheap, single sided boxes with the compartments, lid, and hinges all molded as once piece, but you'll just be buying them over and over when the hinge points fail. ... show more

I ordered these to sort out some screws, nuts, bolts, and washers. They are good for that but it would be more versatile if all of the dividers could be moved and repositioned. As it is now only the horizontal pieces can be removed or relocated. The boxes are pretty heavy duty, the latches do a good job of securing the double-sided lids, and I think the price is good considering you get two cases. ... show more

With over 5 decades of home and car repairs, I have accumulated a large number of small parts. The problem is they tend to migrate into drawers or shelves all over the house, and are difficult to locate when needed. I went around the house gathering various electrical, plumbing, automotive, and random household small parts, and loaded them into these cases. As you can see in the photo, now just about everything I need for household electrical repairs is in one side of a case. Most items fit into the compartments, but the dividers can be removed for larger items. The lids snap on securely, so there is no danger of parts falling out. One of the snaps did pop off one case, but it was easy to slip back on. These are wonderful for organizing small parts, and the two-pack is a great value. ... show more

These storage boxes are perfect for keeping small hardware parts organized. The boxes are well constructed and the partitions in them are configurable. Unlike some of these type boxes the dividers are flush with the top of the box so that parts can’t shift between partitions. The clasps lock the top on tight making these great for carrying an assortment of screws and nails to the job site. The boxes are double sided so there are plenty of compartments for a good assortment. I plan to use the second box for picture hanging parts. All the various types of hangers will be in one spot so I’m not rummaging through the tool chest or coffee can full of parts to find the items I need. This organizer box is pretty good quality for occasional use. The hinges and latches are not simply folded plastic. Instead they are plastic pivoting hinges. The body is more stiff and not completely reliant on the lids to prevent twisting. Inside there are pre-installed removable dividers. This is a nice set if you are looking for a small parts holder. As another reviewer noted, these boxes do not stack nicely. Rather, they are double sided boxes that seem to work best on their edge. Thus they would fit nicely into a cabinet or the like, but don't expect to be able to stack them. The plastic quality is fine. The latches are sturdy enough and the clear lids are soft enough to take impacts and not shatter. Hopefully they stay this way in low temperatures. The bins are large enough for most small-med fasteners without taking the green partitions out. I'm currently using them for screws and bolts. This would also work well as a storage container for models, miniatures, or other small objects that you need to protect while in transit. ... show more

I used these boxes to organize wiring connectors and nuts. The double-sided design is great- you can store a LOT of small items. The lids close tight against the dividers, so not even small pieces get mixed together when the boxes are carried or stored. For the price, these boxes are a great value.

Over the years I've accumulated so many guitar parts: knobs, screws, switch tip covers, pickups, etc. These worked perfectly to organize them all, make them easily accessible, and easy to find. The cover isn't perfectly transparent, but close. The removable dividers let me create the compartment size I need for a particular part type. The lids latch securely, and the entire unit feels sturdy. My one complaint is that these are not stackable. If you set one on the other, it will slide off with even the slightest pressure.
