    • Tonka quality is not what it use to be.
Everybody that has owned Tonka toys, especially the trucks know that they get used and are beat up by kids. My parents still have my old Tonka trucks from the 80s and they’re amazing. This truck was awesome and my kid loved it. However the wheel is connected with some cheap plastic and 1 broke off. Not what I would have expected from Tonka trucks. I give it 3 stars because it was a cool toy, but please use a metal axel next time. ... show more

This is very well made! Solid, thick, durable plastic. My 19 month old LOVES the sounds that it makes. Very sturdy and rolls nicely!

    • Very sturdy but heavy
This truck is super heavy but kids seem to love it. It has spectacular features on the wheels and also has some buttons to play sounds. It’s perfect in general unless kids decide to throw it into the windows or the glass tables.

After 1 day of playing the wheel broke off. It can’t be fixed. Ugh (at the time rated 1 star) UPDATE: Rerated this product as I emailed the company with a picture of the broken truck. Received a reply apologizing and today I received a new truck in the mail (Second picture).

My grandson was delighted that Nana sent him another truck, but the truck had to go in "time-out" because it kept running in peoples ankles. :) It is now relegated to the outside, but he plays with it constantly. The next request is for a 'Wace car, Nana".
