My husband and I bought this for our two year old. He was always a little terror when he was watching the iPad on plane rides or on car rides. His one rule was he wasn’t allowed to touch the iPad. Of course, that rule didn’t last. But we still needed an alternative for traveling and we wanted to reverse our mistake of giving him too much screen time. This product is a necessary alternative! 1. My child is obsessed with it! He easily grasped the concept of changing out the characters for different stories and songs. He also loves to play with the characters by themselves too. 2. My biggest selling point was it is meant to be handled by toddlers. He can drop it from our dining table and I don’t have to worry about anything breaking. It’s virtually indestructible. 3. It only requires WiFi when you download a new characters story to the box itself. Otherwise, no WiFi needed. 4. Battery life is phenomenal. I charge it once a week! 5. We also use the Tonie box as his sound machine at night! They have lullaby Tonies that are wonderful and so peaceful to listen to. 6. The Creative Tonies are really cool, because Grandparents can read stories to them and they can always hear their grandparents voice. I wish we had this before my dad passed. The media could not be loaded. No issues ever out of this thing and it’s been almost a year! Great alternative to screen time and keeps the kids busy. It’s easy to charge and holds a charge for a long time. Sounds great and hasn’t worn down too much! We love it.

My son loved his Tonie Box and we invested heavily into buying Tonies for it. When the Tonie Box stopped working in December (we purchased in October) I contacted the company through Amazon to exchange it-- It will not connect to the internet so it can't play new Tonies now. The company directed me to the Tonie Website. I filled out the online form (TWICE) and it's now March. I received emails for a few months from them saying they don't have enough customer support but they will get to me as soon as they can. Then they stopped emailing all together-- meanwhile the Amazon Return Window has closed. This company is selling a deeply flawed product (reviews indicate that I am not alone), and they are not supporting it so you can return it within Amazon's or their own return window. There is no human to directly contact. They strung me along long enough so I can't go through my credit card for a refund. This is a SCAM. ... show more

We love everything about this! My three year old loves to dance to this and also listen before bed. It is very easy for kids to use. Can't wait to buy more tonies so we can expand the collection. The only tricky thing was setup - if you have 5G internet set it up via the website not the app. Then the toniebox will be connected to the app after that. ... show more
