I have dogs so I look for household furnishings that are low maintenance. I have been without a living room rug for a while since my last machine washable rug deteriorated :( I was hesitant to get this but am so happy I did that I actually ordered another! I ordered the teal and couldn't be happier. It makes my living room pop with color. No it's not professionally installed carpeting so could it be thicker? sure but then it wouldn't fit in the washer. I love it the dogs love it and guests that have been over ask about it to get one for themselves. Haven't had the slippage issues people have mentioned so that's a plus. I did have to wash it already because my older fur baby wasn't feeling well and decided the rug was a good place to empty her tummy. I cleaned it up and washed it in cold water and it came out with no staining (old school washer with agitator.) I dried it in the dryer on low. (took 2x to dry.). Not sure how many washings it will hold up to but my dogs are pretty mellow and there is not a lot of foot traffic on it so all in all I am pleased. I was looking at area rugs and didn’t have a lot to spend, I was really amazed you can get one at this price point. I was curious as to how they shipped it and was amazed at how small it was in the shrink wrap. The color is true to pictures, but as someone else mentioned the piping is a different color and no matter how I try to cover up, it still shows. This rug is like a huge bathroom rug. It’s in the ohana suite which doesn’t get used all the time so for the cost I think it will work out fine. Not sure how it vacuums up - I think this one you would have to shake out. ... show more

I wasn’t sure I’d like these after I got them. I’m quite a lot older than the teenagers I imagine these are marketed to, but when I put them around our bed they are actually quite beautiful and so soft! It helps on very cold mornings when you have to find justification for getting out of bed! These are a nice size, for being alongside the bed. They are longer than usual throw rugs. I don’t know how they will be beautiful, tho. They are white, and furry. Neither of my vacuums work on them, so the best I can do is sweep them lightly with a long whisk broom. Bought the 5’x8’ dark brown for my granddaughter. She loves it! Nice, soft landing when she uses her indoor slide. It’s not thick or heavy, so it folds easily. I would definitely suggest if you’re putting on bare floor to put adhesive, tape, or a mat underneath. It does slide around easily.
