Our niece loves to skate so these were the perfect gift for her. She loved the purple color. Most products are pink for girls and seldom are purple, so this is fantastic. The skates were a good fit for her as a 7-year-old. They were easy to put on and buckle. The wheels light up which is pretty neat for kids. The wheels run but are not super slippery so there's friction there for kids to stop. The cushion inside the skates offer the right support for the foot and ankle.
