Bought this for home use because i didnt want to keep bringing my work ones home. Used it for the first time to clean cured loctite off the bolts. 10mm die is completely stripped. There are many times when threads get damaged on important bolts or machine parts and it's not like you can just run to the store to buy a replacement. I bought this when I didn't immediately need it, knowing that sooner or later, I could come in handy. Sure enough, just two weeks later, I had a bolt with the threads on the end damaged so that I couldn't put a nut on. This thread file set helped me totally restore the end threads so the nuts can thread smoothly.
