I've had this kitchen stool for about a month now. It's perfect for my 18-month daughter. She's always been wanting me to pick her up while I'm working in the kitchen. I bought this so she could see what I'm doing and help with simple things. My daughter is pretty short, even for her age, and this stool provides a perfect height for her to be at the kitchen counter with me. The built-in step at the bottom allows her to climb into/out of it on her own as well - I don't have to pick her each time we use it. The product came well-packed with easy instructions for assembly. All tools provided, but I recommend using a cordless drill for faster assembly. I love the all-wood construction, it's going to last for a long time. I did a lot of searching for a toddler kitchen tower that was a quality piece. For me, it needed to be solid, sturdy, adjustable, stylish, safe, non slip, multi-use, not too cheap in price but also not crazy expensive and it needed to have a small footprint in terms of measurements. My only concern is security. My advice is to take your time looking, I read the review before buying it, but I not see that coming. Pro: keep kids busy playing at the same gives you a break. This step stool is perfect for our 2 year old he is able to get right up to the counter and help me with food prepping or making cookies and right up to the sink to wash his hands. I had a previous cheaper step stool and while that one worked for me it started to loosen up and the fall apart which was not safe for my kiddo. I went online to find a replacement and fell in love with this one. Super easy to put together! Love the color and looks a lot better in our kitchen than the previous white one.
