I picked up this bookshelf after seeing it on Amazon and the dimensions were perfect for my grandson and the room, I had available to pop it up in. The package arrived quickly and I put it together in no time. It comes in pieces needing assembly but the manufacturer sends you everything you need to put it together less a hammer needed to finish the bottom with the nail in nylon feet. They even send a pair of cotton gloves to aid in assembly and protect your hands but I have huge hands and the gloves are meant for an average sized palm so they didn’t work out for me. I have a large assortment of tools but wanted to use the provided screwdriver to make sure it worked for those of you who may be limited of your toolset and would need to use the provided one. I will say it worked perfectly. Smaller than my liking for a regular screwdriver but it will handle the job and get it together for you. The instructions are written out clearly with pictures and easy to follow for a quick assembly. I had the entire bookshelf put together in under 30 minutes and I was taking my time. The assembly came together and everything squared up well so the shelf doesn’t wobble. They provide nylon feet to prevent scratching and make moving easier for cleaning and these will require something to hammer them in but the nails aren’t large and a thick hard cover book could perform the trick in the absence of a true hammer. They also provide some ‘wood’ printed stickers to cover the screws on the inside of the book loops but after applying them I’m not sure it made a difference in my opinion but they are there for your use. Everything fit well and nothing was a pain to assemble. My grandson loves to read and be read to so this book shelf is perfect for that and gives him a sense of independence being able to reach the books on his own and grab the one he wants to read. The shelves and cabinet are bonus for putting up toys and just general toy storage. The entire assembly is heavy enough to stay put but light enough to move around for cleaning. ... show more

    • A Lot Smaller Than I Expected
I am satisfied with the TOETOL 2 Tier Kids Bookshelf and Book Storage，4 Sling Toddler Bookshelf, Storage Boxes Book Shelf & Organizer for Nursery Playroom Classroom Library Bedroom Natural Wood. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, though. Pay close attention to the product dimensions - not the photos. They actually state it is 23 inches tall - less than two feet. So I'm not sure why I thought it was going to be more than that. I'm happy with the color. It's a light natural wood color. Some of our furniture for the kids is white, some is dark brown - we picked up pieces here and there and so nothing really matches. But natural wood always fits. The little sling shelf holds only about five or six books. I have another sling-style book shelf that holds about 30 books, for comparison. But I like the smaller size. The big sling gets stuffed with lots of things that aren't necessarily books. I find socks, wrappers, stuffed toys, pennies, pebbles and more in the other bookshelf. Sometimes less really is better. The directions were easy to follow. It did take me just over an hour to put the shelf together, but I was working alone, late at night, and tried to keep quiet. I might have worked faster during daylight hours. This is a really cute little child shelf. It's in our living room for now, holding library books, but I might move it up into the little boys' bedroom. I'm glad I got it. It will be very useful. ... show more

First thing you should do is look at measurements on this as it's SMALL. A lot smaller than I expected... especially with the product pictures that I feel are super misleading. I wouldn't have ordered it had I realized the size but I didn't measure before purchase! As for assembly my teen assembled the whole thing with no additional help and said it was really easy to do. Color was yellow/ orange. Was made of a laminate too. Not impressed. Will use in basement, just didn’t want the hassle of returning it.
