I bought this for my desk and it works fantastic. It smooths my skin tone and helps me look more handsome and professional on zoom calls. It works great for photos too. This thing is definitely more of a professional photographers light than a slightly upgraded ring light. It's built really solid and should last a good decade if you aren't moving it too often. I'm a barber that needs appropriate task lighting to see my work as it progresses, to do my tapers and fades. The suite that I rent at the shop I work at has very bright intense overhead lighting. But I needed something to see below the occipital bone, to make sure my tapers and fades were blended perfectly. I have gone through four ring lights! Two broke after the warranty ended. They will only get but so bright, and they're just not cutting it for me. I thought I'd try this, and omg! It is brighter than any ring light! Comes with a remote control and has more options than any of the ring lights I've had. I've been able to set it lower on the stand, on and it takes up less space than a tripod. It is not in my way at all! And it lights up exactly where I need to see, to do my work. I can't say enough about this light. I'm so excited! Absolutely worth the price.     • It’s decent, but cheap
The light it makes is nice and adjustable, but the plastic screw that holds the head in place feels very flimsy, as is the entire thing. I don’t think this will last long before it breaks. It wobbles, but what do you expect?
