This has an amazing ring. Light is only powered by the u. SB port you have to connect it to have power, but it has so many settings. If you have a power bank, you could literally connect it to that and carry it around, make it portable. The ring connects to the stand or you can use just to stand alone, which comes with Both adapters, it's a lot for the value ... show more

The light itself is great. Easy to set up and use. However, the little plastic cover for the remote won’t stay on. I’ve tried to find info to contact the manufacturer but can’t. My return window closed. I thought I just had it on incorrectly but I don’t. If anyone can help with contacting Todi, I’d appreciate it. I just need the small remote replaced. Thanks! ... show more

This tripod is GREAT!! It has already been used a handful of times! We brought to family gatherings at the holidays and birthdays and it was such a hit. Everybody commented. Usually it's trying to balance a phone on a bookshelf or somebody with a long arm holding their phone out and their face is super big and everybody looks tiny :-D I brought this and had it setup for the big group photo and it was SUCH a breeze! This was great for taking family photos of us all in a pile of leaves this fall. With the awesome height, you can get a birds eye view which makes for a great shot. Also, with the controller, you don't have to go back to the phone and set the timer every time, you can just connect to blue-tooth and keep on pressing the button. Excellent feature. The legs extend so easily and fast and despite the height when they're all extended, the thing is quite stable. I love that this comes with one phone holder for when you want to use the light ring, and one for when you have the light ring on. The light has an impressive number of adjustments in brightness and color tones. Only thing I don't like is that trying to use this for zoom calls can be a bit blinding, but you can just choose a lower setting if you don't mind not being super lit up. Only suggestion for improvement would be the screw at the bottom which tightens the legs that spread out. As soon as you loosen it a little, it's in danger of falling out and if you lose it, the entire tripod is not going to work. Just figure out how to make that better and you have a 100%. ... show more

I bought this lamp almost 2 years ago and it worked well until lately. I use this light when I paint and carve. Recently the light has been flickering but the most annoying thing is the ring won’t stay on the base. I think the pin is not long enough and when I tighten it, it won’t do anything and it hangs at an odd angle or just falls out completely. I have tried to fix it but I may just use some heavy duty glue OR duct tape to secure it. ... show more
