Minor damage (dents and scratches) and some of the holes didn’t quite line up so there was no way of getting the “screw” thing in. Tried backing screw out of backside to give it more “room to give” so you could get the front screw in, but then you couldn’t get the back screw back in. This happened in a couple of different places, however we were able to really force some of the screws in the tight squeeze area (and I do mean force it in, you think you’re going to break something, but surprisingly it did not break). Instructions were followed to a T (and then verified, and verified again a 3rd and 4th time while trying to figure out where the error was). I do believe without those 2 screws it it still safe. It seems pretty sturdy. My one year old son loves the slide and the bridge, so I’m good with the purchase, just expected it to be a little better.. ... show more

I got this play set for my one year old niece for her birthday and I was so excited with how cute and durable it is. It was really easy to put together and only took about a hour. Not only does the one year old love it but all the kids have a blast playing even my 8 year old.

I got this slide set for my 2-year-old, and he has loved it! It is the perfect size for him. It seems a little unstable when you’re first putting it together, but it comes together really well and has held up great. The instructions are fairly clear, but lacking in some areas. Putting it together was a bit difficult because all the hardware parts are in a single bag that you just have to dump out and sort yourself to find all the pieces and the pictures of parts aren’t the most helpful. One of the parts is a little black plastic circle piece and we found out just by trial and error that you use that to screw in all the pieces. Note: a screwdriver just bites into the plastic, it won’t help much. The stairs unfortunately cover up an important screw piece though, so you will need to use a screwdriver to get that tightened because the black piece doesn’t fit in there. The piece is still held on by 6 other screws though, so it’s sturdy enough! The plastic does get quite hot in the sun, so you want this to be somewhere shady or used as a water slide in the hot season. It does come with two pairs of toddler grippy socks though which is super nice, that was well thought through! The stickers go on easy, and all put together the slide is sturdy and fun. It’s not too heavy to move it around but heavy enough I’m not concerned about it tipping over. My toddler loves it!! He loves beeping the car horn which sounds like a squeaky toy, and the basketball hoop is just the right height for him. The telescope is a fun addition as well and swivels all the way around! Overall this was fun, just a little tricky to get together and a little hot in the sun. ... show more
