Assembly was fairly easy and would have been super easy if grandpa had even glanced at the instructions instead of just diving in and trying to cram parts together. What should have been a 20 min job took over about 45 min with some disassembly to correct assembly mistakes. All the parts were included and functional. Two balls included (they need to be aired-up with the pump included). This isn't the sturdiest set up (you'll definitely need to weight the base with either water or sand or by placing something heavy on it) but that's not unexpected at this price point.
