I have severe eczema and this is the only fixing spray that makes my makeup last all day without burning. I use a setting spray, the heritage lavender water to set my makeup, then dry it with my blow-dryer on cold, and then apply this fixing spray to make my makeup last. I use my blow dryer to dry my face after applying the setting spray and then a second time to dry the fixing spray. Using this combo for a month now has made my makeup look perfect all day long. I was skeptical about these products, I mean I found out about them from Insta!! I am impressed!! The cream went on smooth, leaving, a smooth no sticky yucky texture that felt refreshing...not heavy. Allowing to drying prior to adding makeup you'll be good to go. I will be buying more of these products for the quality and price point. I can't wait to see what else they come up with. ... show more

I have been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills setting spray to set my makeup and it leaves me a little too shiny/oily and transfers easily onto clothes. Since I've purchased this product, I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills setting spray to melt all the cream product into my skin. After I set with powder I used the TirTir setting spray and the mattifying effect is instantaneous! After a full 10 hour shift, my makeup is still locked into place. The only downside is that it can be a little drying, even after doing hydrating skincare prep and using hydrating primer. Still I believe it is a fierce competitor for more expensive mattifying primers. ... show more

I have never used a “setting spray” before since frankly, i just thought natural wear and tear of makeup was bound to happen. however, since ive started using more foundation and layering my makeup, i figured i would give it a try. safe to say, i love this product a ton! i use it after skincare/prep, apply my foundation, spray again, powder, and one more time once im finished up. it sounds like a lot, but it kept everything in place after a night out. it was a INSANE difference. normally, my makeup is smudged and my foundation wears after about 3 hours, but i was wearing my makeup for 6 or so hours whilst being outside, in a kbbq restaurant, etc. and it looked the exact same when i came back home. the finish of my makeup is also completely different, i use light to medium coverage foundation, but the setting spray blurs and blends everything extremely well. i genuinely did not expect a simple spray to be so transformative and impactful on my look. definitely recommend and it’s a really fair price point! ... show more

I have never used a fixing spray before. Learned about it on tic toc, since apparently it's different than a setting spray. I am more confident now that I don't have to worry about transferring my makeup especially since I have to wear a white lab coat for work.

If you're looking for a light hold setting spray with a slightly dewy finish- this is the perfect product for you. Unfortunately it is not the best product if you are looking for something that prevents transfer and smudging (esp for oily-combo skin). I tried this because I was out of the brand I usually use and the price looked like a good black Friday deal. I used it for the first time this morning and by 4 PM the make up in my t-zone and along my jaw line had separated and oxidized. My face felt oily all day-even my eyelids were shiny!
