This is my first time trying this brand of preserves. I was looking for something not so cloyingly sweet and this fits the bill. A true taste of apricot. Black Currant preserves is no where to be found. After searching Amazon, I discovered the Tiptree brand. These preserves have an excellent flavor with lots of fruit. I am ordering my second order with Tiptree and will continue to do so. There brown sauce is also delicious!

I've loved apricot jam since I was a child. But lately everyone's using too much citric acid, and not enough sugar. I should be able to use less than a teaspoon and drizzle it on toast and still taste the sweetness more than the sourness. I had hoped that since this one is English it would be more traditional but it's disappointing. I would make it myself, but I can't even find apricots in stores on a regular basis, they're not popular in the US. I may have to make a syrup to add.
