  • Great Techie Gift for a Little One

This was a birthday gift for our grandson. A perfect educational toy with a techie touch. Colored lights enhances sensory learning activities. Great for travel as it uses 2AAA batteries. Well made and lightweight. Highly recommend this ‘busy board’.

  • We love this light board!
Style: Double-sided LED Busy Board
My daughter was becoming obsessed with light switches so we wanted to find something that would encourage her curiosity in a safe way. It took a few months for her to build up her finger strength to do most of the buttons, as they are a bit stiff (in a good way). She has just recently learned how to turn the bottom yellow and the red plug-which I think are the most difficult on the board. She learned very quickly that if she threw the board, it would not work anymore. When tossing, one of the two batteries may come loose-so you need to unscrew with a screwdriver to reset. This actually helped when she was first using it, to help control her frustration when she couldn’t get one to switch. We recently took our first trip, and this was a must have for the plane! Plenty of fun and distraction, with no annoying sounds. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Definitely Buy!!
Style: Double-sided LED Busy Board
I'm absolutely thrilled with this product! It's been a lifesaver during appointments, keeping my little one entertained. The switches are so much fun for her to play with, and the lights are mesmerizing. I was initially concerned that the lights would drain the battery quickly, but that hasn't been the case at all. This product is a definite 10 out of 10, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to keep their child engaged and entertained. ... show more

  • Fun for toddlers but not toddler proof
Style: LED Busy Board
I got two— one for my kids and one for my nephew. I figured the wood would be sturdy and even if the batteries run out the kids would still enjoy flipping the switches without the lights. The box says ages 3+ due to choking hazard but I don’t see anything that is an obvious choking hazard. My 1yo and my 3yo love it. The 1yo has been carrying it around nonstop. But it slid off the table once and landed face down (a 3 foot drop) and stopped working. Once I tapped it hard on my hand (face up) it started working again, which made me think either the batteries can knock out of place easily or perhaps some other inner mechanism can. Either way, a toy for toddlers should be a little more drop proof. This has happened more than once so far where I have to “fix” it for the kids because it got dropped or bumped too hard and I basically have to tap the back of it a few times for it to work again. Maybe I’ll try putting a little something in the battery compartment to ensure it’s not the batteries bumping out of place. Annoying, but for the price it’s still quite entertaining for the littles. ... show more

  • Perfect toy for a bored toddler
Style: LED Busy Board
Got this for my high energy grandson. He is less than 2 years but was very interested in all of the buttons, switches, and lights. Some of the things were a little hard for him to move with his hands but he figured it out. During this process of discovery, he would get frustrated and throw the the toy. It didn't break after being thrown quite a few times. It is made out of heavy wood so it does hurt when you get hit. Just be aware it you have a toddler who throws things. It would be good if this toy had more and or different light switches, buttons, and a lighter weight wood so grandparents don't get hurt. ... show more

  • Keep them busy
Style: LED Busy Board
My toddler loves pressing buttons especially the light switch’s in the house. So when I found this I had to purchase it. One of the buttons didn’t work but there are so many that it wasn’t a big deal for me. My son plays with it almost everyday and it keeps him busy for 20-30 minutes, for a busy mom that’s equivalent to gold because it’s 20-30 minutes where I can make him a quick meal, clean up, or do the laundry. ... show more

  • 3 Year old loves it
Style: LED Busy Board
Bought this for my daughter on her third birthday since she likes to flip light switches on and off. Thought that it would take her a bit to get the hang of it since some of the lights have a dimmer switch, one requires to be plugged into itself. But she had it figured out in just a few minutes. She loves to just switch them all on and off. Occasionally she leaves it laying around with the lights on and I remind her to shut off her lights and she runs over and shuts them all off. Seems to run for quite a bit (hours) on a single set of batteries. The wood makes it pretty durable, she's got food on it and dropped it plenty of times and it still looks and works fine. The only issue is that there is a bit of extra room in the battery compartment and sometimes the batteries can get knocked out of place internally so you have to unscrew it and push them back in. ... show more

  • Nice idea
Style: LED Busy Board
The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because my toddler still likes to flip the switches on it. Also, I like the design of the battery storage that keeps them safe away from toddlers and the overall appearance is nice. However, after about a week or so of use, some of the switches and connections on the inside started to get loose, and the lights stopped working. I love the sealed design because it keeps the baby/toddler out. Unfortunately, it keeps the adults out as well, unless I pull out some tools and disassemble it. Which I risk damaging or breaking the box if I do. ... show more
