Took me 10 to 15 minutes to get these on the first time. I wear a size 9 medium thus purchased the medium fit boot. That's a New Balance trainer. What I did was add baby powder to the inside of the boot so the shoe would slide in to place. Before that the rubber inside would bind against the shoe and I could not get the toe into the toe box without a whole lot of effort. Seems to me there may have been a flock lining inside before so the shoe would slide in. Now it is rubber and it can bind the incoming shoe. Wear life to be determined. ... show more

I work outdoors and use them in mud and snow. I walk on top of all kinds of rocks and gravel, those hard stalky weeds, I've had to walk across broken glass and other random debris. No holes baby. After a few months of use I wanted to wash them good because I usually just keep them on my work boots but I filled them up with water and no holes. I was skeptical but they're stronger than you'd thing. Nice solid rubber. Definitely not for looks, not sure why people are leaving bad reviews because they look goofy lol. My midsize, waterproof work boots had a minute tear in the front sole after 2 years of wearing. Then I decided to purchase Tingley high top rubber boots to go over my old work boots. It’s just perfect for wearing outdoors in the rain and puddled areas all day long at work. A little exertion though in trying to put on the rubberized high top over my old mid-sized work boots. This is a great way to get some extra flexibility from your shoes during nasty weather. You can protect expensive, dress shoes or add some waterproofing your your comfortable walking shoes. These take a bit of effort to slip on, but they fit like a glove once adjusted.
