Work brutes - More material, more traction, longer wear. Work brutes PVC overshoes have thicker and deeper cleats for better grip and longer wear. Injection molded Work brutes PVC overshoe has 46 percent more material in its outsole than the nearest slush molded competitor. Frigiflex PVC compound contains special additives for high stretch and flexibility in cold temperatures. Ideal Applications: Food Processing, Construction, General Industry, Transportation and Hazardous Waste Cleanup. Chemical Resistance: Some exposure to fats, certain acids, hydrocarbons and caustics. Not recommended for use in ketones, aldehydes and many solvents.

So I got these because I live on 20 acres of clay, where it rains or snows for about 6 months straight. Been wearing standard rubber boots with socks underneath, and been freezing my toes off. I wear a men's size 11 sneaker, and I bought the 2XL size overboot. My sneakers fit inside just right; easy to get on, but no slop inside, so walking is natural and stable. Easy to take off, too. I tried to get my lightweight work boots in: I might be able to get the overboots on over them, but taking them out would be a job. Which is fine for me, I just got these so I could work outside in the winter and keep my feet warm, and putting them on over a workboot would be redundant for me - the entire point of overshoes is you don't have to change when you go outside, you just slip the overshoes on over your regular shoes. But if you are a size 12 or over, I'm not sure a sneaker will fit in these. Not without a fight. Definitely not a size 13 shoe of any kind, IMHO. These are good quality and well made. The soles have a good pattern for grip, but don't have the deep, deep lugs that are a curse if your soil has even a little clay, or if you don't want to track a bucket of snow inside with you. This is a great product but rather than just echo what most of the other reviews are saying, I want to add a caveat that I didn't see that would've been helpful before ordering. The sizing on these boots are tricky. Don't assume that your shoe size will fit. Keep in mind these are going over your regular shoes, so if you wear snug loafers or dress shoes, then the sizing chart provided will probably work. But if you wear comfy sneakers or running shoes with really thick soles, like New Balance, Nike, etc, then you will probably need the largest size to go over that type of shoe. I wear a size 10 shoe and had to order the largest boot size (XX-Large 13-15) to get them to fit over my New Balance walking shoes. Even if they come up a bit loose for you, they're not likely to slip off because of the boot's clingy aspect. In fact they're so clingy they're likely to take your shoe with them when you're ready to peel them off. But that's not so bad so long as they're keeping your feet dry outside. ... show more

I use this boot with liners (not shoes) for winter camping. They provide enough size for good insulation (provided by me) to stay warm and dry in deep snow. They would also be good for ice fishing where your feet are not getting a lot of activity. Be careful around campfires; the material is sensitive to high heat. With the proper insulation, you won't need to warm up your feet! ... show more

I was most concerned about the fit, since the last par of overboots i got were way too small. I read some of the reviews and followed their advice. I wear a 10w and got the 2x. with shoes on it is still a tight fit. I usually put the shoes in first then slide my feet in. Might be easier just to go in stockinged feet inside the boots.. A dress shoe may fit better, but I have a difficult time getting them over a size 12 Sketcher . I have pack boots but need more support for extended times on my feet, thus supportive shoes with over boots is my solution

Good price. I wear these for work. Not sexy but get the job done. Having wet feet sucks. “Water proof” boots are nice but when you’re walking around in slop for hours you can’t beat an old fashioned pair of overshoes
