Normally I wear a size 13 and had to return for a size 12 which are still roomy and comfortable with orthotics. Easy to wear, easy to keep decently clean enough to transition to the office. I live in a very tropical environment and walk through rain and water A LOT. Feet never wet, but these make my feet sweat more since they are not vented. They are slip resistant in oil and water. Great quality and comfort for the price. I've several pair of timberland and redwing work shoes and these compete well. After a good solid month of wear 10 hour days, 3-5 days a week, they seem to be of good quality. Only not all 5 stars because fit is really wide and runs big. ... show more

I tried using these in a restaurant, with small ceramic tiles. I felt like I was going to eat it wearing these at night, I don't know if it was a combination of soap and grease or liquid or what on the floor, but these did not feel like they had a very firm amount of traction or grip on a wet surface. I'm gonna blame the tiles and their smooth surface. The slightest movements I just felt like I would slip. I'm not really going to hold it against these boots, because I have had a pair of non-slip Sketchers I tried there, as well as some slip resistant boots of another brand and both I've had grip problems with. The water resistance I like, great for keeping dry from water splashing on the floor. I'd probably get these again but for a different location. These are true to size for me. I ordered a size too big 9.5, I should have been 9 like with my other boots and Sketcher's shoes. That resulted in me feeling like i had a lot of space in these when walking around and got uncomfortable toe rubbing. I have a pair of New Balance 1080 V9 shoes size 9.5 that fit as perfect, no space between the interior and my heel or toes, just a nice, tight fit but not constricting, a pair of New Balance 720v3 size 10 that fit a bit loose but I workout with at the gym. ... show more

I bought these on a "try before you buy" deal and kept them because they were actually wide enough for my feet and were quite comfortable. It does have a solid steel tool with plenty of room. However, After using them for a couple of weeks, I now don't have much of a favorable opinion. I had to cut back the stitching on the sides of the tongue so I could pull it forward enough to allow my foot so slip in. Then, the heel has no reinforcement, so it collapses as you try to slip these on; a shoe horn is somewhat help. The little tab at the back was no help, usually they are a loop of leather that provides a good hold to pull boots on. These merely had a leather tab that you just can't squeeze hard enough to effectively pull the boot on. There was very little arch support to begin with, so after a day of standing in them, my feet get real sore. So I'm real disappointed with this purchase, the only good thing was the price. These are surprisingly well made nice materials, I broke them in one evening, spent the next three days hiking around the woods cutting brush and trailblazing in them and they are tough comfortable, and look like they should last, we’ll see. I am pleased with this purchase, nice find.
