I bought one of these 6 years ago for my daughter, believe it or not, who wanted a military-looking watch that didn't cost a fortune. She loved the dial and the web band, and she wore it CONSTANTLY-- all day, all night, every day. To school, while playing tennis, band concerts, lawn mowing....you name it. I bought it for her when she was 16....she is now 22, so you can do the math on how much wear and tear this thing got. Well finally, last month, she accidentally plowed it into a cabinet and cracked the crystal-- and it took quite a whack to do it. Prior to this, the watch had proven very durable and ran well. I bought this watch for my husband in Feb 2023. It's is now June 2023 and the Indigo light doesn't work anymore. At least the last watch we bought just like this one worked for 3 years.

The watch arrived the next day. Super fast delivery. I recently got into watch collection. I wanted an everyday watch to wear. This watch fits the bill perfectly. It's really beautiful and love the nautical band that came with it. I've read some reviews, that states the watch is loud sounding! I wear to sleep, only time I take it off is to shower. ( Even tho it's water resistant. I rather not wet the band) I honestly do not hear it at all. So far the watch is keeping great time and working as it should. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. I love love love the look of this watch. I have had a string of really bad watches. 3 infact from just 1 brand (high review from buyers), and now my latest watch, from Timex. Just to let you know that I am a CNA, so obviously anything off is a no-go from me. I really do want to give Timex another shot because, supposingly, they have their brand's name on the line. The watch I received had the same defective problems like the 3 I ordered from another brand: red second hand not aligned with the black smaller lines between the numbers, and it also got "stuck" on the minute hand. Tried tapping the glass, pressed the crown (it still lit up), then I just shook the watch which started it up. My husband has since replaced the battery, and I thought the watch may need to be "cycled" manually, so i pulled out the crown and did just that. So far so good, but of course the red second hand is problematic, will not do. I contacted Amazon and a replacement watch is on the way. Watch this space!! Update 3/20/23: So far so good. I now have 2 of these watches, one for spare. One of these was a defect because within half an hour the watch wasn't working at all. With it being brand new and all, i thought maybe if i could try to manually wind it a full 12 hrs and see what happens. Well, its been working perfectly. It may have just needed loosening.
