  • Best Ironman I Have Owned
Color: Gray/Lime
Easier to read and more stylish than any other Ironman model in my opinion. I know that chunky watches are in style, but the case is about twice as thick as it needs to be (you can through the crystal it is half empty). I would much prefer the same watch with a thinner case that would fit under the cuffs of a long-sleeved shirt. ... show more

  • Another excellent Ironman watch
Color: Gray/Lime
With its silicone watch band, it is very comfortable on my wrist. I have taken it snorkeling, worked in the yard dong very demanding tasks, and it keep on truckin'.

  • Easy to read
Color: Gray/Lime
Nice easy to read watch. Large number are about 10mm high, compared to about 7mm high for older style 30 lap Ironman. Actual display is a bit darker than in pictures. Wrist band is different, more flexible than older styles, and seems to fit snugly. Haven't used it in water so can't comment on that.

  • You'd be hard pressed to find a better watch at close to this price point
I bought this because I wanted a watch to time myself doing weightlifting sets with 15 second rest intervals. Particularly one with: 1. Big, readable display I could see basically at arm's length- I didn't want to have to pull it to the typical 12-15 inches or so to comfortably read the dial. 2. EASY to feel buttons that were easy to press and clearly one function or another and wouldn't need to be fumbled with, especially when tired 3. Pretty rugged construction 4. Strap that wouldn't acquire stank through exercise 5. Easy-to-use countdown counter that could be constantly reused without needing to be set to a specific number of seconds each time 6. A design that didn't look cancer-ridden with excessive growths, bumps, tumors and text 7. Cheap/no maintenance Overall I'd say it succeeded. -------------------------------------------- MY QUIBBLE: I knock it one star for being a bit too bulky overall. It would have been possible to design a smaller watch with just as large of buttons and display without compromising durability. Yes, the display is very large and easy to read, though substantial amount of display real estate space is wasted on the "Timex" and "Iron Man" logos. The upper and lower third of the display make use of only a tiny portion of their space in most settings. And THEN outside of the display you have a circular ring with markers. Markers would make perfect sense were this a watch with hands and you wanted to see what time it is. But it's not. So now you've now had to enlarge the whole darn thing for no reason. But I'm probably being way too picky at this price point. It's bulky on the wrist, but it doesn't impair functionality. ------------------------------(END QUIBBLE) The buttons are clearly separated from one another unlike some other sports watches, which is really excellent. Rubber strap has held up well over 6 months of use. Accuracy is nothing special for a quartz watch. Durability seems good, the raised bezel should help to protect against scuffing. Bottom line: For $40 you'd be hard pressed to find anything with a countdown timer, a display as large and decent buttons without looking like cancer ... show more

  • It comes with no instructions!!!
Patricia this is for you for trying to help me with the chime button and for everyone else trying to figure out the settings on this watch. I mean come on, really...no instructions!!! As best as I can figure everything is based on the lower left button. To set everything hold the top left button until time 1 flashes, then hit lower left button and the present time will start flashing. For the hour you have to hit the middle right button to go up and hour or lower right button to go down an hour. Next hit the lower left button for the minutes and do the same for it with the right buttons to go up or down and then hit the lower left button again for the seconds and the same with the right buttons to go up or down with the seconds. After that is done, the date will flash, do the same with the right buttons to change the month up or down then the day. Hit the lower left button for the year, then the right buttons to go up or down, left lower button again for 12 or 24 hour mode changing with right buttons, then left lower button again for month and date, right buttons again for each to change, lower left button again for chime, then middle right button to switch between on and off, then left lower button again for beep, middle right button again to toggle between on and off (it is the beep for hitting the buttons). After all that, it goes back to showing thime 1 display and that's when you hit the top left button after you've completed everything. It took quite some doing but I finally figured it out. Hope this helps anyone having problems setting this watch...again really...who in their right mind sells something with no instructions...that's just plain stupid in my opinion!!!! ... show more

  • It’s a LARGE mens watch
Color: Gray/Lime
I want this type of timed Ironman in a smaller size for my wrist. I let is as I was “watchless” and needed something quickly. The upside is the read is huge and easy to read when on the move.
