  • Great fit, very comfortable.
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Brown
My brother's been buying these same boots for years and won't try anything else for work (he's in construction). He raves about the sturdiness, comfort, and support for his arches. Insists they are well worth the money.

  • Not for the timid, rock solid and intimidating describe these boots
Size: 10 Color: Brown
First, these boots are true to size. I wear a 9.5 dress shoe and 10 sneaker. Work boot sizes seem to be all over the place, but a 10 in these boots is a comfortable fit and I could even go down another half size if I did not use thick boot socks. They do run a little wide. There is good padding in the boot and it has a high quality insole. The first thing I noticed about these boots is their weight and solid construction They are rock solid, the boot leather is thick and the composite toes feel every bit as strong as steel. I suspect if you went to kick in a door with these the whole house would fall down. I have not thrown anything major at them yet, and will supplement this review if my opinion as to their durability changes. I am happy with my purchase and recommend these boots to the community. UPDATE: spent the day in ankle-deep snow sludge and mud, after 8 hours my feet were bone dry. Definitely waterproof ... show more

  • Just buy them stop thinking about it.
Size: 12 Color: Brown
Most comfortable boots I've bought. Great if your a mechanic or work in some other industry where your boots take a lot of abuse and your on your feet for long periods of time, i work 10 hr shifts never have i thought about my feet hurting since i bought these boots. The $40 boots are great for the price but they stop being comfortable and they start to fall apart after 3 months. My last pair of timberland boots lasted 3yrs, i retired them because the tread was getting thin but they didn't have any holes nor were they coming apart. In my experience Timberland Pro boots hold up well to oil, solvents, corrosive detergents, and diesel fuel. I've had this pair since may of 2017 and the only difference between them now and when i bought them is the color. Still waterproof, comfortable, and still in one piece. I'm sure there are better boots out there for more money but these one's arn't to expensive and they have proven themselves to me. Quick math: $40 boots last 3 months, $160 per yr $210 timberland boots last 3yrs, $70 per yr So your timberland boots only have to last less than a 1.5yrs to break even and they'll last longer than that and be better boots during that time than the cheap ones. ... show more

  • Runs 1/2 size too LARGE (in sizse 8.5M)
Size: 8 Color: Brown
Summary: I wear a 8.5M in most everything (across different brands), but this one was 1/2 size too large. I have a pair of the SIX INCH Boondock, which are size 8.5M, and I wore double socks with those. I went with a 8.0M, and they fit perfect with one pair of socks. Discussion: I have had the 6-inch pair for about a year, and used them for outdoor work. In the past six weeks, I used them for about 100 work hours in inclement weather (lots of rain), doing tree felling. Lots of walking up/down a pretty steep hill. Additions: The only thing I changed was to add a set of Keen Insoles (link below) for better support. Pros: Decent grip in wet conditions; good ankle support; protective toe worked in a few instances (dropping small logs on foot). Cons: I wear a 8.5M in most everything (across different brands), but this one was 1/2 size too large. Previous boots: Before these, I had the 6 inch Boondock, and before those I had the Keen Pittsburgh (6-inch). • Not worth it. I expected better from timberland
Size: 11 Color: Brown
I would not recommend these boots. I work outdoors in the tree trimming/removal business. I'm on my feet at 8+ hours a day on all different types of terrain. I've had these boots for about a month and a half now and the bottle sole is already coming off. Also they are not waterproof, as on light rainy days my socks still get wet. They are comfortable once you break them in, but definitely not worth it if they start breaking apart after a month. ... show more

  • 320lb guy on tough rocks 16 hours a day.
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Brown
I work on trucks along the railroad. The terrain and rocks absolutely tear up boots. I was able to get over a year out of each of my last two pairs of these Boondocks. For comparison, I am only able to get about 6 months out of my Red Wing Boots or other quality brands. On other boots, I usually wear through the rubberized toe. These boots did not wear through. The side leather looks a bit rough, but amazingly I haven’t had water intrusion issues yet. I have very wide feet and normally have toe pain in most wide steel toe boots, but these have been an absolute pleasure to wear. They have a bit of insulation, but not too much that I can’t wear them all year round working outside. I will soon be purchasing a third pair just before winter again. ... show more
