As a new sawyer doing disaster recovery work I had to find a pair of steel toe boots comfortable enough for me to stand in while operating a chainsaw all day. I'd already bought two pairs of pricey women's boots that killed my feet by the end of the day. I then in desperation decided to try buying these men's boots in a small size. I figured they'd be too wide for me but that I could put a set of arch supports in them to take up some of the extra room and potentially make them more comfortable. I lucked out: these boots meet safety requirements and are comfortable enough for me to stand in while doing chainsaw work all day. The media could not be loaded. I bought these for my son who is a Merchant Marine and works on a ship 6 months out of the year. I purchased a pair for him a couple of years ago and they have held up great! I made a video of both pairs for you to see how well they have held up. I bought these new pair as a back up. He loves them and says they are comfortable with little breaking in needed. The boots are perfect for those in occupations that are outdoors in harsh conditions.
