I been a Timberland gan for over 10 years And they get better every year. First of all, I bought this for work If you are in the construction business this is the brand, I use this for what I call trim type of work. Their light and comfortable at first time in wear, I haven't use them heavy at work, so I can't tell you if these are the best, I use my 8inch Timberland boot instead. This type is better then Keen I went to the store to try them both, and Timberland are by far more comfortable, no need to get the wide type. I will say they are better the wearing tennis shoes if you work is finish trim, I do recommend this type of Timberland if you are looking for something light and comfortable wear. By the way pictures shows a month of wear, and after a nice leather treatment witch is recommended, to keep the leather looking good and lasting longer. ... show more

These boots aren't water resistance enough to used it rain and my foot was wet inside but over still some good boots and heavy duty they haven't torned up yet.

Ordered these as I had heard Timberland was good quality. Well, they're not. Had them a month and they've already come apart where the laces wrap around. i work in a grocery store and needed safety boots which are waterproof. Just using them to walk in and they came apart. No abuse just regular walking/standing. $150 wasted. I could have purchased cheaper boots but I wanted these because of the support they offered. Will never buy Timberlands again. This is what happens when you manufacture items in Bangladesh to maximize profits and the quality control is non existent. Why pay more wages when you can get slave labor to manufacture your goods. ... show more
