  • Works well, lights add a little pizazz...
Perfect fit for the Meta Quest 3. Installing the enclosed USB rechargeable batteries was a breeze. It was a little tricky to plug in the USB adapter after the battery was installed, but after a couple of adjustments to the angle of the battery, it fit perfectly. It is very convenient to keep the headset and controllers all charged and ready to go. The lights on the front add a nice touch, but I wouldn't want to keep them on while trying to sleep in a dark room. Luckily, you can change the color pattern or turn them off. Overall, it is highly recommended. ... show more

  • I wouldn’t if I were you
The magnetic charging system for the controllers flat out just do not work. Not just that they don’t charge, like the assembly process does not work and the magnetic charging pin (which doesn’t fit in the battery) comes out of the controllers and stays on the base charger. It at least charges the Quest, but it does not come with a charging block. ... show more

  • Very cool, but tricky setup
I love the design of this product. It looks very sleek and futuristic. I love the lighting modes and how easy it is to switch between them. The setup process was very tricky and I believe this company should find an easier way to charge the controllers. Also, aligning the Quest 3 with the pins can be almost impossible sometimes and at some points 5 minutes just to make it charge. I like the fact that there’s light indicators for the battery status of the controllers and the headset. Overall, it makes my desk setup look a hella a lot cooler, improved my cable management for charging the headset, I no longer have to worry about replacing the batteries on my controllers. I would definitely recommend this product just be careful with the setup process. ... show more

  • Quality
It's great and works well but I think even with the metal stickers using the after market headband makes the headset charge connection a little finicky at times. Still I don't want to return it but think others will. Honestly this one works better than others.

  • Dead LED lights.
The overall design is not bad for the price. However the dead LED lights kinda ruins the overall look of this dock. I'm just keeping it turned off. Since I just want it to charge my controllers and headset.

  • Works better than some I've tried
Third party charging docks are all a bit finicky and so is this one. If you're using anything but the standard strap it will take a bit of wiggling to get the headset to connect. Once it connects (and the amber light lights) then you're good. The hand control chargers are another thing. First you have to change out the batteries for their rechargeable ones. These have a USB-C port right in the battery. So far so good. Then (this is the tricky part) you have to put the controller cover back on and connect their little USB-C magnetic charger thingy to the battery THROUGH the controller cover via a little round hole that DOES fit (no, really it does, I did it!). If you can get this to work, then the controllers work great. Unlike other rechargeable batteries I've used, these DO NOT interfere with the controllers being seen. I'm of the opinion that there has to be a better way to connect the USB-C battery to the magnetic charging pin. Having said that, now that I've done it (more than once because I had to replace the controller straps) I feel confident when the pin is really IN the battery so it can charge. And yes, it DOES look cool when everything works. Not the worst design out there but there may be better ones I haven't tried ... show more

  • Grandson approves
We purchased this for our grandson to keep his quest charged whenever he comes over. The setup was pretty straight forward. All we had to do was replace the handle covers, insert the batteries and magnet pins then plug in the adapter that came with the Quest and we were done. The charging status LED’s are very useful for us, we use them as “down time” for my grandson to keep him from being glued to the quest all day. ... show more

  • Really good IF it is right for you
This is a very nice third party charge stand for the Quest 3. Like the much more expensive Meta charge stand, this one acts as a cradle into which the Quest sits. There are 3 gold pins standing up from the cradle that perfectly match the 3 gold contacts on the headset. Just sitting the Quest on the stand connects it to the charger. Excellent. There are rechargeable batteries for the controllers included plus new battery covers that include a magnetic connector that mates each controller nicely with the molded cradle for automatic charging. Everything looks and works great about this stand. Construction is good and there are even RGB lights to add interest if you are into that sort of thing. There is no power supply included, but you are expected to use the Meta charger and that is fine by me. There is one problem that limits usefulness for me and it's up to you whether it will be a problem for you. This charger is much wider than deep and when the Quest sits in the cradle it sort of just balances there. If you use the default head strap I think all will be well because it weighs nothing and will just sit there on the Quest. But if (like me) You have a third party head strap installed the weight is now distributed differently and balance becomes challenging. My head strap has a battery at the rear and that makes the Quest just roll off the cradle. It works if you have something behind the stand to support the Quest head strap but it that not ideal. Another minor problem for me is that the Quest controllers are super efficient in battery consumption and I don't personally see the need for rechargeable batteries but that is not a criticism of this unit, I just wonder if it is necessary. Overall I like the design (except for the balancing issue), the construction, the user guide and the packaging (cardboard box). I just suggest you consider whether the dock will fit how you have customized your specific headset. ... show more
